Generals of the Kridel-Caada War

Foreword

In the year 542 AFN the kingdoms of Caada and Kridel declared they owned some small islands off the coast of both kingdoms. Caada claimed that few years before that they were in control of the islands, but none has been found. Kridel claimed the islands had natural resources that they needed. Discussions from the two kingdoms went on for a year about who had control of the islands, which were later named to the ghost isles.

On 543 AFN the Kridellian ambassador, Sebastian Bruke, and the Caadan ambassador, Aslam el-Hallal, traveled to the isles and proposed a way to divide them. A few months later Aslam el-Hallal was found dead, and the knife found in Sebatian's room. No one knows if he did murder the Caadan ambassador, but he was to leave the isles immediately.

A few months later two more ambassadors came to the ghost isles. Zubair al-Zahra from Caada, and Phoenix Foster from Kridel. The two knew each other before the debate, and both hated the other. While they did bring up the original proposition made by Sebastian and Aslam it was quickly shot down.

On the 12th day of the month of Stalag Foster decided to dishonor Zubair by calling him names, defiling his living quarters, and humiliating him in public by talking about his dark skin. While we don't know if there is any truth to this, or Caada just blamed Phoenix. We do know that he was drunk that day. But the deed was done and Zubair had declared that Caada and Kridel will be at war.

For the next five years the two kingdoms fought with brutality. Kridel recruited the locals from the Ghost Isles, (the question on how they survived for so long has still been unanswered), and Caada used their mighty navy against them. In the end Kridel and the locals were victorious, and they had claimed the isles. Unfortunately the Isles had nothing of value and Kridel fought a five year war for some barren islands.

As I would love to write every single detail of the war, I feel that would take an eternity. So I have written down the stories of the knights from both countries. Now do bear in mind these stories might have happened or, most likely, are romanticized versions of what really happened. They are the only stories that are available to me however and I feel the real story would not do the great knights justice. Without further ado, these are the stories from the Kridel-Caada War.
