Chapter 2

Kang Ryu:

"Professor, you called?" I freely walk into his labatory. I raise my eyebrow when I see him so serious about a certain book. I elbowed Taehyung, signaling he should say something to make Professor Min Yoongi notice us.

"Sugar, want some coffee?" Taehyung teases as Professor looks at him, annoyed. Taehyung smirks and sits in his table. I facepalm because of his behaviour.

"Look, just because I have an ancestor named Suga, it doesn't mean I am Sugar. Also, get your fat butt out of my table." Professor Min Yoongi grits his teeth. Probably trying to hold his own anger.

"Sure." Taehyung laughs and whispers to my ear, saying, "Did that do the trick vasílissa mou?" I look at him, nodding. He points his head as I pat it. Taehyung is fond of me doing this. It's cute actually.

"Anyway, what do you want to say Proffesor?" I look at him seriously and he did too. Proffesor first signal us to sit infront of him and we obey him.

"Remember the poem that has been going viral to the kids this days even though it is not appropriate to their age?" He look at his computer and starts to click the mouse.

"Well, it's getting more normal to me these days. I mean, that poem has been going on for thousands of years when I became the King of Phoenix." Suga quickly look at Taehyung as Taehyung continues, "and no, I didn't invent that poem. It just started off randomly." Taehyung shrugs.

I suspiciously observe the actions of the Professor. Yes, the words of that poem might be weird but I mean hey, the poet might be fond of vampires or demons. But base of Proffesor's actions, I might need to reconsider the poem.

Proffesor notices my gaze and smirks. "Atleast I have a smart student here. Well yes, you got that right Ryu. That poem is not an ordinary nor normal poem. Infact, it has a message to the future. What's worst is, it might be a warning." The eyes of the Professor suddenly turns red but when blink, it turn back to black. I guess I am imagining things.

"So you are saying that, that mere poem can cause some what? A destruction?" Taehyung suddenly shift his position showing how interested is he in. Obviously he just want to have a fight. It's been years since he has fought someone. I bet he has lost his strength.

"Basically yes. I'm afraid if we make one mistake or we will be too late to found out about this poem, then I guess it is the end of time." Professor Min Yoongi pushes his eyeglasses using his finger and lean to his chair.

"So we are battling with time here." Due to Taehyung's excitement, he shos his fangs, tattoos and his golden eyes that has a moon in the center.

"Hold your excitements down. We have to do the boring and time consuming part." I sigh while Proffesor grins. Taehyung look at us with confusion. I continued, "Investigating and finding some clues."

Taehyung quickly groans as I chuckle. He is not actually used to this since he has thousands of servants or should I say people to do this part. He will just sit and wait until he will get the information. Once he will received the information, he will quickly make a solution on how to handle it. Well, that should be one of a King's character right?

"But I'm quite confused. Why did you think that the poem is like a prophecy? How did you also know that it tells about the future. I believe it is not just a simple research you have done." Taehyung suddenly became serious and a bit suspicious about Proffesor. They both look at each others eyes as the atmosphere grew silent.

"I know you already know the answer Taehyung and I also have one question, why did you not told us about the prophecy?" Professor clenches his hands. Clearly, he is trying to surpass his anger.

"Professor, I can't believe you started to suspect me. I am innocent and this is my first time knowing that this poem is a danger to us." Taehyung hisses.

"You know, he's telling the truth. I know that look in his eyes when someone doesn't believe him when he is honest about it." I join their conversation, incase they have forgotten about me.

"I have seen him with someone else and not just that, I have also heard him talking about that poem!" Professor exclaims as he stands up from his chair.

"Don't you think it's weird? Taehyung is a vampire and he can easily detect your presence." I ask as Taehyung agreed to my statement.

"Unless, if there is someone trying to frame me." Taehyung grits him teeth as we solve the problem. The Professor scratches his head, a habit of him whenever he is thinking deeply and trying to patch the holes.

"If that's the case, we should take into consideration that why would someone mess with him. Knowing he is dangerous?" the professor said seriously and both me and Taehyung look at each other. "You two, dismissed." the professor continued.

"But we are not done yet. Do you think I will just go out in this room without knowing who is trying to set a trap just for me to fall? That person can make the people believed that I am capable doing the word 'treason' for my own kingdom!" Taehyung finally storms the room as he punches the wall, leaving a hole.

"Look, you might be the King here but I am encharge of this place not you, so get out. I have things to solve." Professor Min YoonGi grits his teeth, trying to control his own anger.

I look at Taehyung and I can see that he is still angry but why would he be? he usually don't care about the topics that the Professor discussed and why would Professor dismissed us just like this. Usually, he will dismissed us with an asssignment to work on. Everything is suspicious. Are they hiding something from me?
