11. Are you my sanity? (Pt. 1)

Darkness. It was all that I could see in this room. I remember how he loathed it. He used to tell me - how he just wanted to run away. I remember how he dreamt of being under the starry sky, away from the darkness of this world. Away from the shadows, into the Light.

I wanted nothing more than to fulfill my promise to him. He never asked for anything. He did all the dirty work without complaints even though he hated it. I promised him how it was the last job, and that we'll be free after it forever. I remember how they shattered his dreams, how they tore us apart. I remember seeing him smile in my arms, as they took him away from me. How he whispered his last words into my ears.

_"I am sorry love, for dragging you down with me. I wasn't able to fulfill my dream myself. You can do it for me right ne? I wish you would leave this world and be free. Maybe somewhere, someday we'll meet again in next world. Show to me starry sky you always promised me of in next life, I'll be waiting for you."_

"I am sorry I wasn't able to show you the starry sky in this life. I'll show you the whole world in next life." I smile tiredly at the memories before flicking open the lighter and dropping it on the ground as the tongues of fire touch my soul while the world goes up in flames...

Blinking away the weariness the raven haired Noble looked at the invitation letter from the Parks.
They invited him for dinner so that he and the young master of the house get to know each other.

Leaning back on the soft leather chair in his work room, he stretches his legs making popping sounds to free his joints. Glancing towards the clock he saw he had more 6 hours of time before he had to get ready and visit the Parks.

He thought about sleeping again for a while but hesitated that he will be thinking or rather dreaming of him again, in his previous form.

He remembers.. when the raging flames of the fire almost covered him the Lord of Isdel, his long time friend saved him, and disappeared into thin air.

Later he got to know about the 'sins' his friend committed after loosing his mate in that war. It was too much for him, first his brother and his brother's mate and then his only love..

To him it was not a sin but his friend didn't think it like that way. He said he turned into a devil. Even though he killed so many Elders, who took the life of innocents, he still felt guilty of taking lives.

Min Yoongi scoffed at the stupid belief of his friend, but he didn't say much on that topic because he felt tired and would rather prefer some sweet time with his bed and sleep.

He quietly made it to his bedroom and walked straight to the bedside table, pulling on to the second drawer revealing an old manuscript. He promised the Head of the Park household to bring it with him once he let him meet his mate.

Yes. His mate has born again for almost two hundred years now. But he had to wait for the right exact time. More precisely he had to wait for his friend Namjoon to relocate his own mate along with his brother's mate.

He still remembered how suddenly one day Namjoon barged into his office screaming he not only found his own mate but his brother's as well. What shocked both of them were that the two of the males he found were born as brothers in this life as well.

Coincidence..? Is it really possible..?

He sighed and looked at the piece of old paper at his hand. He need to get to the bottom of this with the Parks.

According to their sources Namjoon's little brother have been saved from the purification and was under protection of Hoseok.. but.. Jungkook was... Hahh..

And..

Hoseok.. that guy.. Yoongi narrowed his eyes as his heart clenched painfully..

'This time...' he thought 'this time I will make everything right..'

He sighed once more before he decided to slowly get ready for the night's invitation and see the person he waited for so long..

Sanity... will this time his mate will bring him the sanity which he missed because of the separation?

'Tonight will be something..' He chuckled to himself as he made his way through the double doors towards his bathroom to get ready for the night.
