"...So we're like soulmates now I guess."
Kai blinked, gnawing on a slim jim slowly. "What?"
Beomgyu released a loud laugh, hiccuping as he hid his face in his hands. He calmed down with a huff, staring at his still shocked friend. "I don't know! It's crazy."
Kai put down his slim jim. "Crazy indeed."
They sat on Beomgyu's bed in a pregnant pause, Kai staring a hole into the duvet as Beomgyu carefully watched his friend's reaction.
"So like... You have a soulmate now. Is that what you're telling me?" Kai continued.
Beomgyu nodded.
"Holy shit!" The brunet suddenly jumped up, getting up from the bed laughing. "Dude! You found your soulmate!"
Beomgyu giggled, getting up from the bed also. "I know!"
The two jumped around, breathlessly laughing.
"Lemme look at your finger." Kai said, Beomgyu complied. "Is it attached yet?"
The blond shook his head, lips puckered as he tried to control his breath.
Kai smiled, moving the blond's fringe to give him a kiss on the forehead before hugging him. Beomgyu melted within the brunets hold, feeling the same jolt of happiness spring throughout his body. He had a soulmate! The world was wild!
"When are you seeing him next?" They pulled away, soft and content like cotton candy at a festival.
"Tommorrow, we're going out to eat."
Kai nodded, collapsing onto the bed with a huff. Beomgyu did the same, letting a hand splay across the other's chest. The brunet turned on his side, grabbing Beomgyu's hand and intertwining it with his. "I'm happy for you, Gyu."
