"As I sit and stare out of my window, I think of all the fun times we've had here . All the laughing, the crying, the loud traffic noise outside of my apartment. I mean, how could I not. This place made me who I am today. Then again, I'm only ten, but I like to think of myself as progressed beyond my years. But that's not the point, what I'm trying to say is, this is my home, the place where I learned to make my bed, draw, and not to mention crossing the
street to get to school without getting trampled by cars. it's just so sad to let this all go, to just move away, forever". My mom came running into my room. "You are going to love the new house, especially the transition from the noisy streets of New York"
"To the quiet and calm sounds of nature in Tennessee", she said trying to do a " country accent".
Tennessee sounds great all But what about Macey and Chad. I'm gonna miss them the most out of everything. "It's going to be ok honey, you'll make new friends in Tennessee, look at the bright side, you still have a week to do whatever you want with Macey and Chad, she said." "Psh, only a week, that's no enough time". "Listen if you want to go do something fun with Macey and Chad, then I'll take you guys wherever you want to go."Really? "Yep, she said". "Eek!! I can't wait". "I'm gonna go call them right now."
I walk to the living room to grab my phone off of the coffee table, and my mom is talking to grandma. I clearly remember leaving my phone there but, I looked, and guess what, IT WASN'T THERE. Where did I put it? "Mom, have you seen my phone"? "No sweetie, check the kitchen counter." Right as I walk in the kitchen I see Otis, my dog, sitting beside the mop bucket. It's unusual to see him in that particular space because for one thing his water nor food bowl is there. So I walk over to see whats wrong and right in the mop bucket is, my phone. And not only is my phone in the bucket, the bucket is also full of water.
"Dang it Otis". I pull my phone out of the bucket and hear a knock at the door "you stay right here."
I open the door, and there is a guy with a big moving truck outside. "Me, being upset about the move already, blocks the door way with my arms stretched wide. "I know what you are doing". "Um can I speak to your mother." , he said. Oh, well she isn't here right
now. "Yes I am". Mom said as she came to the door."
"Are you the guy moving things to our new house?" Well I don't have a big moving truck for nothing. "And I oop" I said. "GO TO YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW CASEY" my mom said very furiously at me. I walk to my room, well, run. And shut my door with a force loud enough for all of New York to hear. "IM DONE WITH ALL OF THIS."....
