(Y/N POV)
The way back home felt the same as if we were going to North's Workshop. Nauseating and kinda chilly. But the feeling was worth it either way. I finally met my childhood heroes! Albeit, they were different as to what I expected them to be. Especially Bunny. I feel someone shaking my body and I snap out of my trance.
"Huh...?" I say dumbly. Jamie chuckled and poked my cheek. Suddenly, in blinded rage I start tickling him. "This is payback! For pushing me through the portal!" I laughed and he kicked. Tears at the corners of his eyes.
"P-Please...! I can't.. B-BrEaThE!" I continue tickling, until the door slammed opened.
"Don't worry Jamie!! I'll save you!!" My brother said, in a comical voice. I laugh and sit up, excited to tell my brother what had happened.
"Caleb! You won't BELIVE the day I had!" I said, clapping my hand loudly. Jamie kinda frowned but still gave me a thumbs up. I cocked my head but decided to let it slide, I'll ask him later. "I met SANTA!!" I yelled, my throat hurting a bit. My smile was wide, my eyes were sparkling. It truly was an amazing day. Yet, my brother seemed unfazed. My smile faltered, he just stood there looking at me in disbelief. Then suddenly, he started laughing. The odd 'let me get out of here' kinda odd laugh. I tried to play it off as a joke and laugh as well. My smile was crooked, my laugh sounded forced. But I still made him believe, I guess?
"You got me there, Y/N! That was hilarious!" He laughs harder and walks out the room, closing the door behind him. My laugh gets slower and quieter.
"Yeah... I'm hilarious..." I look over at Jamie, he gives me a half smile. I smile back and poke his cheek. I stand up and look for the box North gave me.
'It must be here SOMEWHERE...' Jamie laughs and points at my hand. I look down and see that I'm tightly gripping the box. My face darkens. I'm such an idiot.
