I woke up to little birds chirping outside. I looked at my phone to see what time it was. Unfortunately I was late for class. There were 5 missed calls from my best friend Amy. I guess I was just too tired from partying last night. I got out of bed and got ready. I quickly grabbed something from the fridge and drove to school.
I live in an apartment not that far from school. This is my senior year in high school and things have been going pretty well so far.
I already missed my 1st class so I head to the next one. That's when I bump into a guy just a little taller than me. I get up and grab my backpack to leave when I see who it is. I knew him from middle school but he moved away. "Nathan.." I try to say something but the words were stuck in my throat.

Y/N's pov
I looked at him while tears formed in my eyes. I try to blink them back as I stormed off. I went to the bathroom to wash my face and then went to the class. Luckily he wasn't there.
As I sat in class, thoughts of him filled my mind. Why would he come back? He was the one who I loved unlike any other and he left me for someone else like I was just a piece of garbage. I remember everything. I have moved on but seeing him again has brought back so many memories. That boy has no idea what he does to me.
**ringggggg**
The bell rang I went out to find Amy. I knew she would be at the spot that we always meet in. I had few minutes before the next class so I decided to tell her about what happened.
As soon as I saw her I ran and hugged her so tightly. "heyy..what's wrong?" she asked me while I was still hugging her not wanting to let go. I told her about him and how the thoughts of him were haunting me again.
"hey..i am always here for you. That was all in the past. Try to move forward. If you need anything, I will always be here" her words reassured me. I knew that I could always count on her. "thanks Ames.." Then I realised that I had classes so we said goodbye and headed back inside.
That's when I see him come to me. "hey y/n.." he was standing right in front of me now.
