The Unexpected
Chapter 1
I sighed as I parked in the parking lot. I had just arrived at my new house in Cali and I am satisfied with how it looks. My sister was in the passenger seat with her earphones in but im pretty sure she was sleep. I shook her lighty and said," Wakey wakey, we're here". She opened her eyes and squinted because of how bright it was outside. "Already? Sheesh I just closed my eyes" she chuckled. "Girl you was sleep as soon as we got on the road". I turned the car off and we both got out to get our bags out of the trunk. As she got her bags I got my keys to go open the door to the house.

I open the door and it looked sooooo good. It was a wide living room and the kitchen was not too far from the living room. I walked upstairs and there were three rooms. I got three rooms for company or in case we wanted to change our rooms or something.
   
~30 minutes later ~

We finally got all our stuff inside and settled and now my sister, Janae, and I are on the way to the mall to get some clothes and stuff. We arrive at the mall and we walk inside. As soon as we walk in I see footlocker and instantly went inside. Janae tapped me," aye ima be ina bathroom, lemme know if you in another store". I nod my head and just look around the store seeing what I wanted to buy. I notice someone walk inside and I look up and see a stud walk inside. She was short but has alot of hair. She probably was about 5'1 or something. She was with someone but my focus was mainly on her. She had a nice smile and she had grills in her mouth.

She noticed me looking at her and she smiled. I smiled back then I brought my attention back to the shoes. In my mind I was like 'damn shawty fine asf' but she probably don't like studs. I found the shoes I wanted and bought em. When I was done I stepped outside and was just in time to see Janae walking from the restroom. "Ooo what shoes you got girl". I chuckled," You'll see when we get home" "Ok bet, wanna keep shopping?" "Yeah, let's go". We walked off but I looked back to see if I saw her, she must've left because I didn't see her. We continued to shop for another hour or two then we decided to head home. "Now we need groceries". Janae looked at me and said," Damn we still not done? I'm tiredddd" she wined. I laughed," Girl shut the hell up , I'll go in and shop but you helpin me put the groceries in the car". She nodded and put her earphones in.

I got out the car and headed into Walmart and got a shopping kart. I walked through Walmart getting the stuff we needed for the house and after 30 minutes I was done. I waited in line and I looked to the side and saw the girl I saw in the mall. She was on her phone so she didn't notice I was beside her. I saw her look up and I quickly looked away. She tapped my shoulder and waved at me. I laughed and said "Hi". After I paid for the food I headed outside to my car and me and Janae put the groceries in the car. I got in the car and said," Next stop hoommeeeee". Janae laughed," Woooo yes". The drive from Walmart was like 6 minutes away. Im happy it is cause ima be at Walmart almost every week.

We arrived at the house and put the groceries in the house. While we were bringing the bags in the house I saw a car pull up to the house next to ours. Hmm must be the neighbors. I came back out to make sure everything was out the car and I saw her again. She must stay next door to me. I glanced at her and she waved. I smiled and waved back. "YOUR MY NEIGHBOR?" she yelled. I laughed and yelled back," YEAH". She smiled and walked over to me. "So what is your name?" she smiled. "Rose, you?" "Tony, and yes I knowwww I am very short", she smiled and I saw her grills, sexy as hell. "Oh um did you want to come over tomorrow and get to know each other orrrr....". I nodded," Sure" "Ok, well I'll see you later". I waved and locked the door to my car and headed back inside.

We put the groceries up and sat down on the couch. "Soooo who's the girl you were talking to outsiiideeee" she smiled. I rolled my eyes," Ugh girrlllll it's just someone I saw at the mall and at Walmart , she's our neighbor." Janae nodded," Mmm ok ok, she's cute." I chuckled and in my head I was like 'hell yeah she fine I'd do sum thangs to he-' my thoughts got interrupted because someone was calling my phone. I answered," Hello" "Hello is this Rose Daniels" "Yes this is she" "Ok well I am here to tell you that your mother Tiffany Daniels signed a paper saying that she wants you to have all of the money she left behind" "Ooooh ok ok its in my bank account right now?" "Yes ma'am" "Ok thank you for informing me" "You welcome". I ended the phone call and Janae looked at me all concerned. "Some lady called and told me that mom was giving me the money she left behind, the money is in my bank account right now." "Well what're you waiting on girl, check that bank account". I laughed and went to Wells Fargo on my phone. I looked at how much money was there and it said $500,000,000. Janae and I jumped up excited asf. "Whaatttt, hoowwww" Janae said. "This money will last us years" I said. We both did our little happy dance and then sat down. I turned on the tv and turned on Netflix. I looked at the clock and it said 7:30, it was getting dark. "Want something to eat?" I asked Janae. "Sure, you finna cook" "Yeah , salmon ?" "Oooo yes, with yellow rice and mashed potatoes please?" "Nope". She wined and I stopped her," Im kiddinnnggggg, I'll make it". Janae goes up to her room and says," Call me down when its done". I go in the kitchen and take the mashed potatoes and rice out the cabinent. I go to the refrigerator and take the salmon out. Before I could open anything I heard a knock at the door. I look through the peep hole but it was too dark to see. "Who is it?!" "tory". I opened the door and let her come inside. "Are you ok", I asked. She looked at me and said," C-can I stay here for the night". With no hesitation I said," yes". She hugged me and said," Thank you so much, im just going through some stuff right now I can't stay in that house". I wondered what was wrong, maybe she'll tell me later or something. "Aw , well are you hungry", I say headin to the kitchen. She follows me and sits on the stool and watches me. "Um , yeah what're you making", she says slowly. "Salmon with mashed potatoes and rice". She nods her head," Ok, that's fine with me". I smile and start to cook. "So , when did you move out here". "I actually just moved here today", she smiled. "Where did you use to stay" "In Los Angeles with my parents ... but I had to move because of family issues." My tone caused her to frown. "What happened, if you don't wanna answer it's ok". I paused then I answered," My parents got in a car crash .. they didn't make it." I sighed and continued to cook trying to keep my composure. "Aw it's ok, hey I know what'll take your mind off of it". I look up,"What". "We can go to that arcade that just came Friday , I mean if you want to .. uh y-you don't have to go.." I cut her off and giggled," I'll go, stop stuttering. She got quiet and then laughed.

~ a hour later ~
The food is all gone and we are all well fed. Janae was up in her room sleep while me and Tony were downstairs, I was doing the dishes while she was on her phone. "So, was I sleeping with you or..", she asked. I wiped my hands and said," Oh um, there actually was a guess bedroom if you wanted to be in there um I don't know if you wanted to be with me or alone so". "I'll sleep with you". In my mind I was like 'oooo bet daddy' but in reality I knew that wasn't going to happen so. "Ok, let's go upstairs".
