Chapter Eleven

That's Alissa 💟

I left the office early since I had nothing to do. I told Pene about the trip to London and she was excited more than I was. She even told me she will escape from work early and help me pack.

I didn't know the kind of clothes to pack. Whether I should pack business-like clothes or just casual clothes. I decided to wait for Pene since she knows what to do in terms of things like this. I am really happy about this trip. I think a breathe of the European air will make me forget about everything going on in my life at the moment.

I really miss Seattle. I miss my Nanny, I miss the  workers working around the house. But I can't go back if I want to stay away from my wicked cousin. I can't believe my dad made him my benefactor. He was a sweet guy when I was growing up. No one thought he will be a monster. A money drunk monster. Anyway, I just don't want to think about him now. Thinking about him just made me angry.

I decided to pack my toiletries for the time being. I don'tE know how Aunty Kayle will react. She's like my mom and think she wont take this likely but will have no other choice but to let me go. I mean its about my job so I can go.

Pene came over an hour after I left the office.

“ Hey girl ” she greeted once she entered the house.

“ Hey! I don't know what to pack. I mean I'm so confused. I don't know if it's going to be a business trip or a relaxation trip. I hope it's the latter” i explained to her.
“ Don't worry, that's why I'm here. What will you do without me?” she teasingly asked.

“ Oh puh-lease I'll do just fine.” I mocked her back.

“ But why will he ask you to go with him so suddenly and you didn't even know he had to go to London? You are his P.A, you are suppose to know about everything he does.”

“ Yeah I know. I was actually surprised he didn't tell me and thinking I know about everything related to him. But u don't think it is a business trip or I would have known. So that means it's a trip for relaxation.”

“ It must. Now we know what kind of clothes to pack. But we must add s little bit of business clothes. Just in case it turns out to be an emergency business trip.”

“ Thanks. What will I do without you?” I exclaimed and hugged her.

“ Um hmm!” she said and we both ended up laughing.

Duncun's P.O.V

I can't believe this. How can I do something so stupid. This trip was suppose to be just Alissa and I. If this trip goes well, I'll use her to get the deal with her dad. Now I just messed  it up by inviting Melissa along. If only Alissa will not make a fuss out of it. I have to call her and inform her about Melissa joining us on the trip before acting hysterical when she sees her at the airport.

“ Hey Alissa. ”  I greeted her the moment she picked up.

“ Hey Willie. You miss me already?” she said in her sultry voice. I hate it when she calls me that. The things I have to do for my company. *eye roll*

“ I just called you to tell you there's a slight change in our arrangement. My P.A is coming with us. I need her to help me with something in London. ” I explained to her.

“ Does she really have to come? Can't you find someone in London? ” I knew she will say something stupid.

“ Yes and No. I have to go. I'll see you in tomorrow morning. ” I said and hanged up on her. I don't want to waste time speaking to her. I'm already dreading this trip and it hasn't even started yet. At least I'll have Melissa with me. Being with her calms me down. I don't regret inviting her at all.
