One day there was a little girl and the little girl had a hard life growing up. She felt abandoned and unloved by everyone and she never felt like she belonged. Then one day, she wakes up to find everyone she has ever cared about gone. Devastated, she ran up to her room and she started to cry.
She felt like her whole world was gone. Everyone she ever loved and cared about were gone in a heartbeat. She was about 7 years old when she found someone that caught her eye. He was a boy and when he was around her, she felt untouchable and she felt warmth in her heart.
So her and the boy became really good friends. They shared experiences and stories and were inseparable no matter what. Then one day, out of the blue, the boy asked her if she would be his world forever. She asked him why he wanted a girl who is broken.
The boy tilted his head and smiled saying, "Because when i see you i melt into a million little pieces and when I see your vibrant smile there is nothing else that matters more to me than making that smile last...And when you look at me with those blue eyes there is nothing else holding me down to the earth."
She smiled then told him,"i'm a grenade and one day I am gonna blow up and take out everyone in my path" he told her that it would be an honor to be hurt by her,she fell in to his arms with a smile on her face and told him that she couldn't imagine spending her life with anyone else. Two years later he looked at her and she noticed a different look in his eyes she asked him what was wrong but he would not tell her, until one day he fell to the ground,she called 911 and told them what happened,they got there and rushed him to the hospital,she was told to wait outside the door and she fell to her knees with tears running down her face she prayed to god to let him live,let him be Ok, the doctor came out in the the hallway with tears in his eyes and looked at her with a sad look in his eyes.
he said "i'm sorry to tell you but...he did not make it"she fell to her knees and cried harder than she has ever cried before she was talking out loud to god and said "you knew how i felt about him, you knew he was the only thing that was keeping me from bursting into nothing she remembered that one day she was in the doctors and they told her to rate her pain from one to ten even tho she could not talk and she was trying so hard to catch her breath,she held up nine fingers, the doctor then came in to her room and called her a fighter she called a ten a nine she responded to that with i did not call a ten a nine because I am brave I call it a nine because I was saving my ten and this was it this was the great and terrible ten. She never really knew what love was until he held her in his arms and kissed her like it was the last time he was ever gonna kiss her,he was her forever and he loved her and she loved him with all of her heart
And now she can't wake up to him in the morning and kiss the lips that made her feel safe.She could not wake up to him in the kitchen she could not wake up to him anymore he was gone and she couldn't live without him anymore she wanted him back of god did she want him back but he was gone and there was nothing she or anyone could ever do about it.She attended his funeral the next week and she had a huge speech about there love life and how he was the love of her life,She got up to speak and she could she said "in his last few day she always seemed to be able to crack a smile and to tell jokes and just be his normal self.She did not believe a word but she has decided that funerals are not for the dead they are for that living.she got in her can and pulled down the visor to check her makeup and a letter fell down in to her lap,to her surprise it was a letter he wrote her when he was in the hospital it said
"hey baby I know you miss me and i know it hurts but you are gonna have to pull through and be tough,I know that it's gonna be hard and you don't wanna breathe without me but you are gonna have to just because i'm not there with you to hold you and kiss you doesn't mean that i'm not gonna be there with you I will be there when you need to to be but you need to be there for the people who cant handle the pain I know it's gonna be hard but i love you so much and i know you loved me more than I could ever imagine someone could love another but you did and i'm so thankful for your love
