I fumble around the dark room, trying to figure out where I am. Finally, I feel a soft, velvet, material along the wall. Curtains! I thought gleefully thinking I could finally figure out where I am. When I pulled back the curtains, I'm blinded by the bright light. When I get my bearings back I finally look around the room. I'm in what looks like a library, but where and when? I have no idea. Ok, I guess I owe you all an explanation.

My friend Jin and I were walking home from the library, after a long three-hour shift.
"THWACK!"
"What was that?" Jin asked me.
I took a look at what was thrown at us "RUN!"
"What the Tartarus is going on?" Jin asked looking at me as if I was crazy.
"I'll explain once we're safe!"
"Safe? What do you mean safe?" Jin asked but I wasn't listening, I was busy trying to locate the closest safe house in the area. I quickly pulled Jin into an alleyway.
"Why are we in an alley?"
"I'll explain once we're inside." I quickly input my ID and we enter the room with cracks in the wall. "Ok, we're safe. I'm sure you have questions."
"What is going on? What did you mean by safe? Are you who you say you are?"
"Well, I don't know how to say this but basically time wraiths were chasing us with deadly weapons, hence why I said to wait till we were safe, and of course I am, I'm your friend, who happens to be a master of time," I say calmly.
"What? How can you be so calm? What are we gonna do now?"
"Well believe it or not this has happened before, and I'm gonna take you somewhere safe."
"Where is safe?"
"Headquarters, of course."
THUMP, THUMP, KNOCK
"They're here, Jin, go with them, they will get you to headquarters safely." I am enveloped in a tight hug.
"Bye, hope to see you again."
"Take care old friend." As Jin was taken by agents to headquarters, I was walking back to my house and into the basement, where my time machine resides. Now you might be wondering what happened from there, well...
