May 2014, Delhi
As Khushi really want to support her family, she need to get a job first, but being under confident nervous girl she don't know how she will manage, still with her dad's help she got a small job but it wasn't permanent one, temporary for 3 month, but she agreed as she need it badly & within three months she might gain some experience as well, so she accept the offer happily.
The very first day of her office, her dad took her there to introduce with the manager, they welcomed her like the way they did others & then she greet everyone, though she was very nervous , she was trying her level best to b normal. Ms.Lina the manager, explained her what she have to do here, its like assisting the peoples of different departments when they need, then she introduced Khushi to the call operator a pretty girl who must b few years older than her not much, she was very friendly, bubbly & talkative, her name was dolly then she tell her about the other employees working here & asked her not to get scared, Khushi was just listening to her as she talk very less & the girl also realize that & was very supportive, rest of the time it went to helping the other people & understanding her work pattern, now it was lunch hour, & the office had a big & separate hall to have lunch ( all employees don't go together but they did it in several batches) as Khushi was new & dolly could sense that if she doesn't approach she might not eat food & keep working, so she called her to hv lunch together & took her to that room, while having lunch together a voice took her attention, it's a voice of a guy who was talking, there was a laughter in his voice, at first she couldn't say that person's face due to the curtain but as it removed due to the wind her eyes found the owner of that voice, the guy looks cute & really charming & there were few male & maximum female employees who were enjoying his company, Khushi asked dolly addressing  her di (Sister),
K: Sis, who is that guy?
D: Why? Did u have a crush on him? ;)
K: No, not like that sis, actually in the morning Lina ma'am introduced to me with everyone but I didn't get to see him then, that's why thought to ask.
D:ooh , that's Arnavji He is working in the marketing & sales department as a junior manager that time may b he went somewhere for work that's why you didn't see.
K: oh I see, Thanks for the information.
While she was looking at him with curiosity his eyes also fall on her & he might felt she was staring, when Khushi saw him looking at her direction she, removed her eyes & continued eating,
A to D: hey doll, who is that girl with u?
D: she is new here just joined today as a temporary replacement of  Nita (the permanent employee)
A: oh, hello Ms? Your name Plz?
K: Khushi
A(With a smirk on his face) : Hi im Arnav, welcome to this company, I hope your jounery with our organization will be memorable.
K: thanks ,& gave a slight smile (being nervous).
Rest of the day Khushi got busy in doing her work, as both Arnav & Khushi work in different departments there was no scope of meeting again.
Khushi reached home, her mom opened the door & hugged, she keep her purse of the sofa & sit to get some rest, her mom bring water & said,
Ma: how was ur first day? Are you fine there?
K: Yes mom im fine, day went good & the people r also nice, & start think about the peoples over there including Arnav.
Ma: I knew it u ll manage, you were getting nervous unnecessarily, Khushi gave a smile to her mom
Ma: ok now you go & get fresh , I will get you something to eat.
K: ok, mom, where is di & the kids?
Ma(her mom bcom sad & took a deep sigh): Where else she can be? in her room & kids are playing, I don't know what will happen in future, at one hand your papa's business isn't going well and here your sister can't get over from her misery & the kids don't know what else I have to look after
Khushi, holding ma by giving a side hug don't worry Mom, im there for you together we will manage everything.
Ma: How many things we will be looking after? You also have your own life, Now you should get married & settled down build your own life.
K: You don't worry about me, if there is marriage in my fate I will have the guy who is destined to be. You just be with Sis & the kids, stay strong, now give me a smile. her mom gave a smile & placed a soft kiss on her forehead &Khushi left to meet her sis & kids
At Arnav's place, he was deadly tired, he removed his socks & put it on the sofa & also collapse on it & said pls give me some water, but no one is there, then he remembered his mom went to his aunt place & the maid she only came in the morning b4 he goes to office she prepared his food & clean stuffs, he made a sad face & went to the fridge bring a water bottle &drink then thought to eat something but he wasn't willing to have what the maid cooked, so he closed the door & slept without eating anything.
Next day at office like the previous day she was moving around & helping the employees working there, one of them give her a file number & asked to get it from the shelf, the shelf is in another room &tht special room is only to keep the files & all department's client's file is kept their labeling in different shelfs, Khushi got confused still trying to get it, by this time, a voice came from her behind.
A: do u need any help? Can I help u anyhow?
Her eyes got opened & heart beat goes faster as she could recognize the voice but not getting y she is feeling so nervous & being restless, she looked at that direction & saw it was him only, looking at her with a smile
K: thanks but don't worry I will manage.
A: r u sure?
K: yeah
A: ok
He was also there to get a file &was looking for it, Khushi could she that number of file kept on the top of the shelf but she wasn't getting them as it was too high comparing to her, she looked at Arnav who was still there busy looking for his file, so she decided not to disturb him & look for something where she can stand & get that fine, there were a small stool kept for the same reason, she took it & stand on it & got the file, but it was liltle heavy so she couldn't balance & was about to fall, she closed her with the fear of her touching the ground but soon realized she wasn't on floor in fact someone saved her from falling & she felt herself very much secure there, she slowly opened her eyes & found it was Arnav holding her tight & giving a smile to her, as her eyes met with him, for some moment they kept staring when some papers from the top fall on them bring them back to the reality, he left her & said sorry & she said thanks both look at each other & laugh, then both, start to picking up the papers
A: I told u that u need my help, if you had taken my offer earlier this mishap didn't happen
K: im sorry, actually I didn't want to bother you.
A: its ok, You are new here, so u might need help & its natural, don't feel hesitate, giving a smile, he hand over her the rest of the papers & left from there
She kept watching him till he got disappeared.After that day, whenever they meet they used greet each other, with smile, but don't get much time to talk & also sometime she found him roaming around her working area, noticed him, stealing glances & kept staring but when she felt he is there & look he pretended not to b looking at her direction & get himself busy with other people, it seems both liking each other, but what next, Khushi is very shy & less talkative so she will never get the courage to talk or approach first &Arnav though he is very much out spoken & lively he is not getting what he really feel for her, but there is something which attracted him towards her.
