Where do I begin?

From the cold shoulder to the icy face,

Or the fiery arguments to hot tears?

You spoke, but actions never occurred

And led me to believe in you whose foundation was set in sand.

Always sliding, never stable.

Always falling, never sure.

Here contemplating on what was real or fake,

To scared to meditate, in fear of uncovering something I want to keep hidden.

I know you'll make your way to this for a reason I don't know,

But the love and twinkle in your eyes will never show

To me at least, losing track of weeks,

And I can't sleep, but you'll never know the pain that stays with me

Because you listen to respond, knowing how it feels to be invalidated

But obviously not how it feels to have a broken heart.

Shit don't make sense anymore like a Gucci belt holding up Old Navy jeans

Friends tell me to hang on but I've been doing it for so long my black knuckles turned white

Or is it from punching the paint off my wall?

Like damn, why can't I sleep?

Is it not enough to haunt me in my days that you take over the little things I have left?

Laughter is vacant as well as hope.

My body which you have praised has fallen like an unkempt temple,

Sensing your presence getting further and further away,

Even though I'm next to you every day.

When I cry, you don't even bat an eye.

Did I misunderstand that you still wanted to be friends

or will you stand to watch me fight in the deep ends of our hell?

Memories of you and me building up these palaces

Now I must walk through the ruins alone while you rebuild in someplace else.

Did everything we built meant so little to you?

I understand your reasoning, I really do

But to toss me aside like last weeks stew?

Damn, I'm really starting to hate you!

Only so I can stop loving you because you did it at the drop of a dime.

Never again I can call you mine.

Now you've found happiness somewhere else.

You've reached the end of published parts.
