The Beach Battle Club and Naruto's Choice

Finally, when Jiraiya step into the sunlight and out of the forest, Jiraiya see the lights and buildings of the Land of Whirlpools. Jiraiya smile, knowing the first Unova Gym badge is just a few yards away.

"Yeah!" Jiraiya cheered. "We've finally reached the Land of Whirlpools! Time for a Beach battle!"

"Yeah!" Darkwing added.

"Uh, not quite, Jiraiya," Soul said, walking past me. "This is the Land of Whirlpools is the next town over."

Jiraiya's jaw drops open. "What?!"

"But of course you wouldn't know that," Wes chirped.

"You're a grown-up!" added Soul.

Jiraiya hang his head. "Wow. Bummer. I was so psyched to have a Beach battle!"

Jackie and Marco turns to Jiraiya. "Then why don't you go to the Beach Battle Club? That's where I'm going right now."

"Beach Battle Club, huh?" Jiraiya asked. "So, what's that?"

Jackie shrugged. "Of course you wouldn't know that, either."

Jiraiya glared. "Well, I don't have children."

Darkwing leads his three children and Jiraiya into a huge building once we enter the Land of Whirlpools. "Here. This is the Beach Battle Club." She points to an electronic board. "And that's the Bulletin Board." She clicks a button, which shows different profiles of Trainers. "See? Each Parent enters their children's profile as well as the type of moves they want to battle against. It's an awesome place for Trainers to sharpen their skills by battling as they see this!"

Darkwing smile. This does seem like a cool place to train. Besides, Soul could use the extra training.

We walk into one of the battle rooms, where two Trainers are facing off.

"Perfect timing!" Darkwing said. "Looks like they're just about to start battling."

"Wow!" Jiraiya exclaim. "Alright!" Jiraiya notice Isshin Kurosaki and her young son—and scan the green one first with my dex.

"Ichigo!" Isshin yelled. "Use Leaf Blade!" The Pokémon's leaf-shaped tail glows, ready to strike.

Riken calls to his son. "Uryu! Water Gun!" Uryu lets a stream of water burst from its mouth, and it hits the boy square in the face. The green Pokémon rolls on the ground near my feet.

"Okay!" a new voice yells. "Enough!" I look to see a strong-looking man. "Take your Servine to be healed," he tells the Servine's Trainer.

He runs to the green Pokémon. "Servine! You okay?"

"Servine..." it replies weakly. The man scoops his son up and rushes out of the battle room.

The guy turns to Jiraiya and Isshin. "We'll take care of all your battle needs. Jiraiya welcome you to the Beach Battle Club. My name is Lifeguard Kanao Tsuyuri. I'm the battle manager."

"My name's Isshin Kurosaki," the perky man says. "I'd like to introduce you to Jiraiya. Hi!"

"Isshin was just telling me that anyone can have a battle here if they want to," Jiraiya say.

Kanao nods. "Right. That's correct."

"I'm gonna challenge the Whirlpools Beach," Isshin explain, "and I wanna get ready!"
