Chris Chan had always hated eerie Skyndesdalen with its combative, curried cliffs. It was a place where he felt worried.

He was an arrogant, spiteful, cider drinker with tall fingernails and scrawny eyelashes. His friends saw him as a vigorous, vain volcano. Once, he had even revived a dying, injured bird. That's the sort of man he was.

Chris walked over to the window and reflected on his cold surroundings. The snow flurried like skipping owls.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Katy Williams. Katy was a callous painter with fragile fingernails and greasy eyelashes.

Chris gulped. He was not prepared for Katy.

As Chris stepped outside and Katy came closer, he could see the violet smile on her face.

Chris looked back, even more shocked and still fingering the tattered piano. "Katy, I am not the man you think I am," he replied.

They looked at each other with sneezy feelings, like two raw, rabblesnatching rabbits rampaging at a very bold snow storm, which had metal music playing in the background and two intelligent uncles shouting to the beat.

Suddenly, Katy lunged forward and tried to punch Chris in the face. Quickly, Chris grabbed the tattered piano and brought it down on Katy's skull.

Katy's fragile fingernails trembled and her greasy eyelashes wobbled. She looked jumpy, her body raw like a beautiful, brainy book.

Then she let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Katy Williams was dead.

Chris Chan went back inside and made himself a nice pint of cider.
