Bars aren't usually my first choice of place to hangout, but this is not an ordinary bar. I saw a strange man sitting at a table in the back, he seemed to be playing the piano, hence the only reason I would come because I love music. He was wearing an all red mask which was disturbing. I'm all for controversy but some things are just totally weird. Many ladies were asking to hear songs, and I didn't want to make things awkward by having a man request anything to be played. This might seem a bit juvenile but I wanted him to play a love song so I could try an dance with a young lady, whom I was interested in getting to know. This piano bar began to strike my interest because of the oxidation of the steel beams, it gave the place a very rustic feel. I finally go up to him and ask him to play "If I Ever Fall in Love" by Shai. He stared at me with a puzzled look, but obliged and began to play. I gulped down the last of my crown apple and built up the courage to ask her to dance. To my surprise she said yes!!! I was happier than a child in a carnival. We danced forever and I would twirl, dip, and hug her so slightly. She began to tell me she had been eyeing as well. This made my night, I was so caught up I hadn't realized I sprained my ankle. She was a herbal doctor and promised to rub it down with sassafras, she is definitely a keeper.
