Its 3PM and my shift is finally over. I hang my apron on the hook and clock out walking out to my car.
"Hey there beautiful" I hear from behind me and I smile instantly knowing its Ethan my wonderful boyfriend.
"Hey you." I smile unlocking my car. "What are you doing here?" I ask throwing my bag into the back.
"I wanted to take you out, if you aren't busy." He smirks.
I smile. "You know I can't I have to do the project for english tonight, we've been together the last few days and the project is due tomorrow" I sigh.
He pouts. "Can I come over and keep you company?" He asks, bringing his beautiful smile back.
"I'd rather you not, I don't need a distraction." I smile at him finally getting into my car.
"Alright, call me when you're done." He smiles. I nod to him and drive off.
I arrive home and walk to my room and turn on my laptop. I go into my Google Drive and create a new document for me to start the project. I then hear a knock at my bedroom door. "Who is it?" I ask typing away at my computer.
"Its only your best friend in the entire world." Alicia my best friend says opening the door and jumping on my bed.
"Hey, I can't hang out right now I have to finish the project for English." I say turning over to her.
"Oh...well then you don't want to hear I got tickets to go see a garage band.." she says grabbing the tickets out of her bag and flaunting them in my face. "Or do you want me to go ask Christina?" She raises her eyebrow.
I groan. "No don't ask her, ill go with you what time does it start?" I ask shutting my computer.
"15 minutes and we have to drive down town so hurry!" She says getting up and walking out of my room. I change my clothes and run down stairs.
