It was time to welcome a New Year ....

Autumn passed and the freezing winter arrived.

"Mu Yan-ge, I came to visit." The once little prince now Emperor Rui Ze came with blessings for the new year.

"Little Ze, Why did you come visit from far away? the journey must have been difficult."

"Ugh-" Rui Ze was tongue tied.

Wen Mu Yan wasn't stupid. Of course he found out long ago  that they lied about letting him go and knowing how obsessed Rui Xuan was, he wouldn't dare let him go.

How could the Emperor never failed to visit him every single day?

He didn't want to make an argument out of this now after knowing the truth for so long. For him, he'll let this slide. It's not like he tricked him for malicious intentions after-all.

But that doesn't mean he wouldn't tease them and pressure them with guilt.

True to that, Rui Xuan's face twisted in difficulty with Rui Ze awkwardly staring at his sorry figure.

This short exchange made Wen Mu Yan laugh and seeing him laugh, the two felt happy at heart.

"What time will they be arriving?" By them, General Qi Sheng, Jue Yu and Xiao Bao.

"They should be arriving in a bit." 

Observing the pair, the heavy knot within Rui Ze's heart disappeared and his worries vanished into air. As he was growing up, he also came to learn a lot of things and one of them was the tearful love-story of Emperor brother and his favorite concubine brother.

Everyday outside his courtyard window, he would watch his brother walk with a single eunuch to meet concubine brother, his back slightly hunched expressing the sorrows of the heart.

So he really was happy. The happiest he ever was.

He solemnly prayed.

The snow started to fall as if the heavens were blessing them.

"The visitors have arrived." Sister Yan announced and Wen Mu Yan's face lighted up with a wide joyful grin.

"Xuan! Take me there to welcome them!" Wen Mu Yan pulled Rui Xuan's hand in excitement.

"Hold onto me well. Be careful." He pulled him up his seat and guided him there. Rui Ze followed suit since he himself was looking forward to see that annoying attendant brother who kept teasing him as a child.

Jue Yu saw them come and and enthusiastically ran, pouncing Wen Mu Yan for a tight hug.

"Mu Yan~!!!" He was really happy to see him after so long.

"Mmn. It's been a while. . ." 10 years.

"Did this bastard made you suffer? I'll tell my slave to teach him a lesson!"

"Slave? General Qi you. . ." He was surprised that the contract was still at work even now.

"No. i'm a free man now but ever since Jue Yu had the power over me, he never let it go." General Qi could only smile at his predicament. Well, his lover's eyes would shine at the mention at this title which was adorably cute so why not let it haha.
