I finished getting dressed for the decades dance, my clothes are not really 60's, I left those types of clothes behind in those years. I topped my outfit with red tinted circle glasses

My brown hair was curled too, I came down the stairs and of course Damon was ready with a simple black collared shirt.

While Stefan and Elena put in more effort. "Losers put in effort..." Damon mumbled mocking us

I got a text back from kaleb
— I'll meet you there.

I guess there is no way out with him. Damon drove us there to the dance.

When we all got out and walked to the entrance Bonnie and Jeremy were arguing about something that caught my attention

"Listen to me please Bonnie, I know you can't take it all of it by yourself..." he pleaded her

Bonnie touched his hand gently "Jeremy there's no way out. I have to do this, I'll be fine." She responded gently smiling

I glance to Damon who caught that too, we hurried in before they caught us eavesdropping their conversation

Loud annoying music blared our ears, it was full of people dressed up, we came in grouped together so I separated myself to look unsuspicious if Niklaus was around

Damon walked over to me but the music was interrupted by a quick speech some student was making.

Her smile was wide and energetic "Welcome all! I have a quick announcement this next song is dedicated to Elena from Klaus! Enjoy."

I chuckled to myself and Damon came closer "this is such a weak game Klaus is playing."

"I'm not impressed either, so we decided the psychotic bastard will come to us." Damon shook his head and took my hand. We danced together to blend in...

"That's fine but we both heard the little conversation outside. We didn't get to finished how we're gonna prevent her dying. She needs some backup." I spoke as I look around the gym

"Don't think I haven't been looking for one, luckily I did." He smiled and twirled me around and pulled me back in

We discussed what we should do, it was simple and fast, only thing needed was to tell Bonnie, only her.

Damon kept dancing with me, he's not bad at it for sure he's been to many dances in his long life. It's comforting he knows how to move
