The day i dreaded all summer finally came. The agonizing moments of suffering were to be brought again. I miserably got dressed and walked out the door to the first day of school, in that respective year.
The eight grade isn't fun at all, since at the end of the year we have that horrible exam that decides our high school, and i'm going to be separated from my friends as we have very different grades. So i have one more year to fully enjoy them, it'd better br a good one.

As i walked into the school yard i could see my whole class in the corner that was assigned to our grade. The girls where in pairs of two or three, talking(i could spot Miri and Theo my best friends) while the boys were laughing and joking, some of them with smart phones in their hands(their most praised belonging) and one corner were Dradra and Gaby, but something was unusual. Sergiu, my other best friend wasn't with them. They always hang up together. Then i saw Sergiu at the edge of our square marked with chalk on the yard's floor, talking with Anna, an amazing girl from the seventh grade that happened to also be my friend. Over the summer they got really close and i kinda of feel left out. They went together to a course or something, but judging from their appearance they went to the gym, although i doubt it, but i just have to get used to having a buffer friend, and a slimmer one. Anna wore her reddish brown curly hair freely. Her hazel eyes didn't change at all, while Sergiu's were like molten chocolate but weren't like that when summer began. She wore a grey and black skull sweater, black jeans and black combat converse shoes. A little too goth for how happy she is. Sergiu wore a red unzipped hoodie and a not so tight white shirt, but enough to show his transformation this summer. Besides that he wore a dark brown belt with dark blue jeans and a pair of red converse. I am so stunned his father let him wear that simple bracelet cause he is so strict at clothing. Anna's parents weren't that forgiving either but i supposed they allowed her to wear that necklace at school. When they saw me Anna waved then turned to her classmates, while Sergiu came towards me.
"You're late!" he said as he dragged me towards the corner where Miri,Dradra and Gaby were waiting for us.

"I already feel ashamed, broken inside and traumatized!"said Sergiu
"And today we only sat in desks and listened to the head teacher!"said Eddie
"I think we over-did it for today"said sarcastically Gaby
"We are already pushing out bounds"completed Dradra
"At least your head teacher doesn't do math in the first day! Why couldn't we have a nice one like yours?!"asked Anna
"Define "nice""said Sergiu
"What ours isn't"I found myself saying
We continued chatting while walking towards McDonalds as it was our favorite place to go after school besides the park that contoured the school building.
As we were walking through the park towards McDonalds, Sergiu and Anna remained in the back of our group, letting us take the lead. As we went up ahead i turned my head to call them but remained mute. They both had looks of terror on their faces and talked very quickly, as they looked somewhere over the lake. Then Sergiu told Anna something furiously. She nodded and went towards us drastically changing her face so we wouldn't see her concern. Sergiu was still looking in that direction. Suddenly a park truck appeared from around the corner from where he was looking, and speed towards him. HOW DIDN'T I SAW IT EARLIER?! HOW DIDN'T HE SAW IT EARLIER THEY WERE BOTH LOOKING IN THAT DIRECTION AND THAT STUPID STILL DIDN'T MOVE! HE LOOKED LIKE HE WANTED TO BE KILLED BY THE CAR. I did the only thing i could think of.
"Sergiu look out!"i shouted
He turned his head towards me loosing his concentration or whatever he was doing and the car hit him. I couldn't watch. I heard my friends gasping in horror behind me. I didn't dare look.
"What the fuck?!"said Gaby
"Your friend is dead and that's the only thing you say!?!?!"i shouted at him, how could he be that insensible
"You won't get rid of me that easily"said a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Sergiu on his feet all right, only a few feet backwards, holding the truck with his hand. There is no way he could've stopped a car. The silence was broke by the sounds of the truck as he trued to move forward. Sergiu gasped and pushed not being able to move the car, but didn't moving either. Did that truck wanted to kill my friend. Why?
"It's all right it isn't what it seem!"he assured us and his words hit me hard like i just found out America existed. The truck seemed to dissolve in front of my eyes. When the car was all washed away, before me stood a creature that had the body of a leopard and the neck and head of a serpent. It was about the same size as the little park truck. I freaked out. I didn't know what to say or think. Was i mad or something?!
"Now our glamour is done genius?!" Anna scolded Sergiu
"Sorry, but i thought i was going to be more powerful than that?!"he replied
"Can someone explain us WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING!"asked Theo
"Sorry no time..."Anna began telling but was stopped by Sergiu " A little help Anna i can't keep him for much. He'll try to bit me sooner or later!"
"Ok ok... sorry to all of you"she said, as she lifted her hand pointing two pf her fingers at us "Hah-ri" above her fingers a silver hieroglyph appeared, but i had no time to freak out as we all fell asleep except for the two of them.
