Xavier's Point Of View

What am I doing? I'm going to be late for the Black Veil Brides concert! Why am I going? I don't even like them very much... I just admire how successful they've become... My own bass guitar just sits in my wardrobe gathering dust. I want to use it. I want to be free like them. I want to see how they do it.

Xavier stepped out of his room into the cold of the hallway, throwing on his leather jacket and putting his packet of cigarettes in his pocket. Before locking the door, he decided to grab his bass guitar out, in hopes of getting it signed for motivation.

He headed down the street, carrying the bass in it's hard-case home it hadn't left for about a year. He knew every Black Veil Brides song off by heart on that bass, and he was hoping to impress the band. His dreams of being a successful bass player in an amazing band ran through his head the whole way as he tightened his grip on the silver handle of his bass case. Checking his pocket to double check he actually had his ticket, Xavier turned the final corner towards the venue. He could hear nothing, and was curious as to where the noise was.

Andy's Point Of View

'People please, calm down! We're trying to work something out here!'

Andy was greeted with a number of water bottles and pieces of scrunched up paper as he tried to calm the crowd. Sighing, he turned and walked off the stage to the dressing room where the rest of the band was. He sank down into his chair, playing with his hair.

'No luck?' Jake asked in his usual cool, calm tone. Andy just shook his head. He had been looking forward to this performance more than usual. He didn't know why but he just wanted to get out and please the crowd, then be done with it and return to the hotel for some much needed sleep. Everyone was tired and this was the last show to wrap up the tour they had been doing, however the show was just a small local show, so the crowd was limited to about a thousand.

Andy stood up after a bit of thought, and walked towards the door, grabbing his cigarettes as he went.

'I'll be back, I just gotta breathe for a sec...' The winter air outside had a cold bite to it, making Andy shiver as he lit up his cigarette. He took a moment to smoke it, only reaching about half way when he sighed again and put it out. He rested his head against the wall, and suddenly jumped when he heard a voice behind him.
