" Aleksandra wake up!" My mom chirped from downstairs.
Ugh, it's another ordinary Monday and school keeps moving on. Well, at least we only have a week left and then summer is going to take over.
I got out of my bed and looked in the mirror. My short, brown hair was all fizzed up and my light brown eyes sparkeld as they normally do every morning. Pretty as always.
I put on a pair of bright pink shorts with a tight T-shirt and jogged downstairs. My mom smiled at me while pushing the dirty plates in the dishwasher ," Good morning love, do you want anything?"
" No thanks mom." I pulled on my backpack and clicked on the TV to see the normal news.
" A sickening virus has spread across the United States and the world. We inform you to take caution in public places, and wash your hands more often."
I laughed and turned the TV off. I wanted to see how hot it was going to be but what ever.
"Bye mom! Love you!" I kissed her on the cheek. Hers cheeks were always soft and her smell always made me smile. What a great mom.
I pulled on some new boots and walked out the door. I strolled to school but then a thought came across my mind. I couldn't wait to see Brandon. Havn't seen him all weekend, which maked me worried. I imagined his beautiful blond hair and those sparkling blue eyes. He was a perfect boyfriend to have. Just the thought of him made me smile.
I reached the front door of Sunshine Jr.High. We were the best school in the district, so they say. I walked in to a zoo. Seventh graders were screaming on top of their tiny lungs while eight graders stormed around. I went to my locker fast saying hi to everyone as I passed. I was unpacking when I felt two hands over my eyes.
" Hey babe, guess who it is." I smiled at that dreamy voice.
"Um, Justin Bieber?" I laughed and I heard a sweet laughter behind me. Brandon was one of those sweet guys. I loved it.
"Nope." He turned me around and gave me a lite kiss on the cheek.
"Waiting for that all weekend." I smiled. You can't stop being perfect can you boy?
" Did you hear about the virus?" I asked him worried.
"Hell yea, its all over the place. Barely any of my friends are here because of it. I hope its just a little flue." His eyes sank.
" I hope so too." I turned back to finish up with my locker. I took my Life Skills folder and walked hand to hand with Brandon. I hope so too.
