Chapter 1- Finally Back Home

Skylar's POV

I opened my eyes. The campsite. We were back home. "Ashley?" I asked. "Sup bruh?" She said. We stood up. As seto said, our wings were smaller. I looked at my non-blocky hands and sighed. "I miss him already.." I said. "I miss Adam too. Wait..... WEVE BEEN IN MINECRAFT FOR MONTHS, THE POLICE ARE PROBABLY SEARCHING FOR US!!" She yelled. The weird thing was, the fire was still lit. We packed up and ran to my baby blue bug (or beetle? Idk). I put in the keys, and we drove to my house.

We got to my house and ran inside. "Hey sweetie! How was your camping trip?" My mum said. "How long were we gone for?" Ashley asked. "Just one night, why?" Just one night. How is that even possible? Then, I heard something in my bookbag. Ashley and I exchanged looks. "Meow?" "Frizbee?" I asked. And then, the kitten hopped out of my bag. "Where'd he come from?" My mum asked. I sighed. "Well.." And the story began.

"And then we said goodbye to our boyfriends and left." Ashley finished. "Wow..." My mum said. "And the Dayla girl, she jumped through the portal too, so where is she?" She asked. "Well, we don't really know." Knock knock. "I got it." I said and walked to the door. There was a girl at the door and she looked like.... "Dayla?" I said. "Skylar?" She asked. We hugged each other. "Oh my god! This is awesome!" She said. My mum walked up. "You must be Dayla. The girls told me everything." She said, inviting Dayla in. We all sat down in the living room while my mum made snacks. "Honey, didn't you wear something different to the camping trip?" She said from the kitchen. We took setos advice and didn't tell my mum, just in case. "Nope, you must just not remember." I said casually. I had slipped on my jacket before we got in, so she hasn't seen my wings. Dayla and Ashley had done the same. My mum brought in cookies, and said, "Be careful, there hot." I never listen when she says that, so I picked up my cookie and it froze. Like, ice. My cookie was covered in ice. Ashley and Dayla looked at me with wide eyes, and Ashley picked up a smoking cookie and ate it like it was nothing. I noticed that when she ate her cookie, her eyes flashed red for a second. "Ashley? Are your eyes normally red?" Dayla asked. Great! I'm not crazy! "No..." Ashley said. "Oh god. Seto wasn't lying.."
