Middle School Lovers

Part 1

Dark POV

It was the first day of school. You would think I was nervous, but I wasn't. That's because I'm one of the most popular kids. My six friends; Jack, Mark, Glitch, Anti, Cry, and Felix; are all on the football team. Although, Jack is so scrawny, I don't think he should be on the team, but damn he's fast! I can't even keep up with him. Anyway, when I got to school, they were all standing at the front waiting for me. Jack and Mark were holding hands. Felix had his arm around Crys' waist. Me, Anti, and Glitch were the only kids in the group who weren't gay. "Hey guys," I said when I walked up. "Hi Dark," Mark said. He didn't sound like his usual self. He sounded kinda down. "What's wrong Mark?" I asked. Mark is always cheery. It worried me that today he wasn't. They all exchanged glances. "We'll tell you at lunch," Jack finally said after a moment. That really worried me.

Anti POV

All during first period, I was trying so hard not to tell Dark my secret. He is the only one who doesn't know that I have a crush on him. I was so scared that he would freak out. I hope he doesn't freak. I was so nervous, I couldn't stay still. "Hey, you ok?" Dark whispered to me. I nodded quickly, then stopped moving and started taking more notes. I hope he wants to be my boyfriend.
