The wind blew her ebony hair with torquoise tips she dyed the week before. She hugged her books tightly waiting impatiently under the oak tree. The sky looked depressed with its grey body and dark way. Estelle made her lips in a tight line worried (for the first time in 16 months) that he stood her up.
14 minutes later, every student in Skullion Senior High School raced and pushed each other out of the tall, dark colored building in excitement. No sign of Xavier. She looked around in anger , squinting her eyes at almost every human in sight.
I was.... stood up...
She knows. In embarrassment, she lowered her head and walked fast in the opposite direction as the others. She walked so fast, she was surprised that she wasn't running.
She had mixed emotions.
Anger.
Humiliation.
Depression.
Again, anger.
She gripped her books at the thought of being stood up. Xavier. Xavier asked her to go to the movie theater and to wait for him under the old oak tree in front of the entrance of the school. You might be wondering: why was Estelle waiting outside the school? Wasn't she supposed to be in school?
Well, Estelle Roxan Roax wasn't known to be a GG. GG? Yeah, GG, goody goody. She was known to be the type to find the darkest corner all the way in the back of the class - that is if, she felt like going to class. She had two tattoos. Both on both wrists. The names of her two little brothers.
May they rest in peace.
It was a long day for her. Throwing her black book bag on the black spray painted floor against the black wall, she threw herself on the black bed with the black sheets. Her room was her own little black dark world.
She closed her eyes.
"VALENTINA!" Her mother yelled. In case I didn't mention, Estella was like her stage name. Valentina was just too happy and a girly name.
It's just too girly for me.
Estelle always thought.
"It's Estelle mom!" She yelled back. God, she hated being called Valentina.
Waiting for a response from her mother, she looked around until she lost her patience.
"E-S-T-E-L-L-E! That spells Estelle!"
"Oops! My bad, Estelle!" her mother giggled.
Rolling her eyes, she got on her feet and went downstair.
"Yes?" Estelle leaned against the door frame on her side.
"We're having guests tonight".
Estelle squinted her eyes.
"Guests? As in.... more than... one?"
"Yes Val-... Estelle"
"Who?" She rolled her eyes.
"Jonathan"
"And?"
Estelle crossed her two fingers hoping the "And?" wouldn't be followed by two little brats.
"Jason and Jasmine".
She closed her eyes tightly. In.... Disappointment.
"Oh, and their step brother, Jonah"
"More boys? I'm so elated and excited " Estelle was sarcastic.
She turned around to walk away which she almost did.
"Estelle"
She froze.
"Yes?"
"Be nice"
