Does She Know

Aurora's P.O.V.

Wow! I can't believe I'm actually here! I've always wished to come to England ever since I was a little girl, and now my wish has come true. It's even more incredible to see it in person than in the pictures.

Today's been a really long day for me. Back home in the states I missed my first flight to London. I should've left my house sooner. My mom kept telling me to hurry up and that I was putting useless things in my suitcase. It's just that it was the first time I was going out, leaving on my own to go somewhere. The first time that I'd be on a plane (well, at least that can recall of) and I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed, with a few extra little things on the side.

Earlier this year, I graduated from high school and had just turned 18. I decided that I wanted to go to school overseas, and what better place to go than England. I thought to myself why not kill two birds with one stone (not literally). I wanted to continue schooling, and live in an amazing country of my dreams. Applying for a job to pay for some personal expenses would come after I've adjusted and settled in.  But that was what I wanted, and my family was okay with it. I have some family and close friends that live scattered about the UK as well, so it's not like I had no one to go to there.

Anyways, back to my flight. To sum it all up, I left my house later than planned and got stuck in the traffic of rush hour for longer than I had anticipated. Once at the airport I realized that I had to go to the bathroom. And I at least have never heard of a plane arriving on time, or even early for take off, so I being a complete inexperienced idiot, went to the bathroom and found out that when I finished that the boarding was closed. I watched my plane leave right in front of my eyes. I was so upset, and on top of that, when I went to the desk to ask about boarding a next flight, the woman told me I had to wait at least an hour till the next plane took off. 

Eventually though, I was on the plane and England bound for a good, about seven hours.

A/N: Hey! So this was the first chapter of Does She Know. I kind of wanted you guys to get to know where Aurora was coming from, and why she is where she is. Either in the next chapter, or in the one after that, I think I'm going to introduce a new character *wink* *wink*. But um please give me some feedback on what you thought of the chapter.
