This. Is. Not. What. I. Expected.

Nobody, as in nobody is looking at me. Not that I want their attention. Its just that, it's so unusual.

I tried to blend in and walked calmly towards the direction indicating the dorms for the students.

SC is a codename for special corps the main university Omelas have. Unlike my old school where there are only wind benders. Students here came from different kingdoms.

The rankings are divided into three; C, R and S.

C for cadet, R for ranger and S for soldiers.

Cadet is the section where front line warriors came. It's the worst section because when there is war, the cadets are the first one to die.

Ranger produced long ranged warriors and marksmen, as well as spy and such.

As for Soldiers, they're produce the all around. Although those from the other two sections are also considered soldiers, those who came from here are born leaders. Those who can survive no matter what.

In SC, they don't care what element you bend, as long as you have the ability to par with them, they will acknowledge you.

And then there's me.

Why the fuck am I here? Oh yeah, it's because I hugged that asshole. Ugh goodness.

I might skip classes for a while. I really don't like it in here and the sky is so dark I think it will start to rain cats and dogs soon.

Hopefully, it will last for a while.

Its been three days since I became a part of SC and guess what mofos, i'm pretty much skipping my classes.

Ok i'll be honest, I didn't attend any of them. I just promoted myself from being a mundane to being a hermit crab.

Because who would want to go to class with that raging storm?

Somebody should tell the Northern King to calm the fuck down because as much as I want to skip classes, many people of Omelas are struggling.

Since I was starving and haven't eaten for days, I decided to make my way towards the kitchen.

The dormitory for SC is a large building, with twelve floors and all, it can actually accommodate all of its students.

Having a receiving area, kitchen, dining hall and such in every floor. And no, its not like your usual all boys and all girls dorm. It pretty much mix everyone.

As for me, I don't have a roommate. I don't know the exact reason for that though. Maybe it's because my room is at the rooftop and nobody wants that. Or maybe its because a little bit smaller that a two bedroom dorm room they usually get.

Maybe because it was me they're sharing the room with?

I don't really fucking care. It's convenient this way.

The only problem is that, I need to go one floor down if I want to eat. And that's troublesome.

I swear.

Because the 12th floor is for the SC A-S .

"What are you doing here?"

Are you fucking shitting on me right now? Like I stayed up all night until past midnight just to make sure nobody's awake just to eat food and almost all of them is here?

The gods must've been so angry with me.

I turned to quickly climb the stairs up to the rooftop but another voice came in.

"Wait. Aren't you...Samara?"

I looked behind me to see who just talked but I failed to pin point who is it. I mean, there's atleast 20 of them in SC A-S and almost all of them is here.

"Uh, yeah?" I said to no one in particular.

"Come join us." said the same voice and I quickly studied his features.

He was tall. He has an orange hair that is almost red, his face has a slight trace of freckles and he has a calm temperament.

I relaxed a little.

"I guess you're hungry? What do you want to eat?" he asked me the moment I was right beside him. We were facing the stove and much to my pleasure, our backs are facing the others.

"It's fine. I can cook for myself. You can guys do what you want."

"Jairus." he suddenly said.

"Huh?"

"My name is Jairus. I came from the north." he smiled a little, as if he remembered something funny.

I was about to introduce myself too but he cut me off, politely, I might say.

"No need for you to introduce. I pretty much know you. You're famous to our family."

Hell yeah. I knew it. I know i'm so aweso-wait what?

"What do you mean?"

"I don't usually give importance to titles but I think you might want to know. I'm the fifth prince of the northern wind tribe." he smiled sheepishly.

Oh no.

Why is that everybody arounds me suddenly came from that family?

Before I could mutter an apology, he quickly said.

"No. Don't say sorry. Everybody in the castle knows what happened and they're fine with it." ok that statement confuses me.

"Why?"

"Well, Janus is indeed a big pain in the ass. And my father somehow wants to whip his attitude but doesn't know how. And you, darling suddenly pulled your trick."

Ok, to be honest I blushed at the darling part. Don't judge me ok, i'm just a teenager and such and Jairus is a sight to see.

"Janus became silent after what you did. He was less arrogant now. My father was pleased."

"Then why the fuck am I here?"

He winced at my choice of words and then shrugged.

"I don't know. As far as I know, the royal family of the north didn't do anything to punish you. After all, you did us a favor."

I was royally confused. Why am I here. I thought this was an order from the higher ups?

If it's not the kingdom of northern wind tribe. Then who?

"The audacity of you to show up your face infront of me."

I quickly turned around to meet the owner of the voice, her.
