Finally, I beam looking at the date on my phone. Today I was finally going to meet my best friend who I'd met online over a year ago. We had decided to meet at a concert we both wanted to go to, although by the end of it I just told her to chose. She ended up picking a band called "5 seconds of summer" I knew of them although I wasn't a huge fan but I knew she loved them.
We where staying in London for the weekend which was a half way point for the both of us. "All packed?" My mum asks coming into my room
"I think I have everything" I hum looking at the black fabric suitcase on my bed,
"Just Making sure lauren. Do you have your phone charger? Money? Tampons?"
"Mum" I groan
"Just checking my baby has everything" she coos kissing my forehead
"I'm 18 mum please" I shrug as she attempts to hug me
"Ok ok, let's get you to London"

We had arrived in London around 2pm and had arranged to meet with my friend Summer at a Starbucks near the venue, the excitement bubbled inside me as my mum and I walked into the shop "LAUREN" she exclaims running to me with excitement, her hug knocks the wind out of me "IM SO HAPPY" she shrieks
"I finally get to meet you and the concert tonight my feels can't take it"
"I can't believe we've finally met" I smile at her as we part the hug
"I know" I beam back as we walk over to the line, the tall blonde boy in front of us ordering 4 drinks holding us back
"Do you have the tickets" she asks wide eyed, I pry the two tickets from my pocket causing her to grab them in excitement
"I can't believe we are going to see 5sos OMG"
"Anything else for you sir?" The woman behind the counter says to the blonde boy
"Whatever these girls are having" he says not even looking at us, a little shocked we order our drinks
"What's the name sir?" She asks again
"Luke"
