I love this song! What a perfect opening for an album. It really does have this dreamy-inspired production to it and there's nothing better than having a song titled after a name, because to me, it just makes it more personable, and you feel as if you know that person. It's also one of more romantic turns on the album, with velvety and soaring vocals from Jepsen calling out to this "Julien" telling him that their love affair is not a fantasy and that she'll waste her last breath on him. If that's not real, I don't know what is! It's also sad as well, as the lyrics are on reflection of this man and how, even after he's gone, she just can't get him out of her head and that he's really done a number on her.
