I got off the bus at Nate's house that afternoon. That's the only place I feel safe. In his arms. "Are you okay, Aliza?" Nate asked. "Not really." I replied. "What's wrong? " Nate asked. "I'm scared. " I say. My voice was nothing but a faint whisper but somehow he heard me. "Aw, Aliza, don't be scared. I'm not going to let anyone hurt you." he said just after he softly kissed my forehead. Then we heard a loud bang. I jumped and screamed at the same time. "Aliza you stay here while I go and see what's going on." he said. " Okay. Please be careful, Nate. " I said. He flashed me a quick smile and then he was gone. "What the hell! " I heard him yell from down stairs, "Who are you!?" "I am Nancy Bekka, Aliza's mother, and I want her home this instant." said the person which happens to be my mother. "Oh no!" I whispered as tears began to fall. "Who is Aliza? And what are you doing breaking into my house?" Nate said angrily. "Don't play dumb. I know that you know where she is." my mother began, "I am not stupid. " "Well you must be looking in the wrong house because I have no idea who you are or who you are talking about. " Nate was saying "I'm new here. I just moved here like a week ago." "Fine!" she said angrily. "But if you are lying to me I will find out! Got that?" She stormed out the door with a slam. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and I realized I was on the floor. "Aliza?" said Nate. "It's okay now she's gone, your safe." I looked up at Nate's eyes. "Now you know why...." I started. "Shhh, it's okay you don't have to explain. " he said pulling me onto his lap. I cryed into him. it was probably around 8:00 p.m. before we moved from our positioning. "Are you hungry?" he asked. "Um, kinda yea." I said. "Okay well what do you want to eat?" asked Nate. It sounded like he's never done this before. "I don't know." I said. "Okay then how about we go out and eat?" he said. "Yea that would be perfect. " I said smiling. "Okay." he said. Then I was pushed up against the wall. "I love you, Aliza." he said as he started kissing my neck slowly. "I love you to, Nate." I could feel my face burning and Nate could see it to. "What?" he said trying not to smile but failed not to. "Nothing." I said laughing. It felt good to laugh without forcing it. He could tell I was actually laughing to and he started laughing with me.
