It hadn't been too long ago when Kenny's dreams came true. He had been accepted as a trainee. He had strived toward this goal for so long. Everyone in the Komaeda House dorm was happy for him. Everyone except Kyle, that is. Kyle didn't care much for his roommates. He just acknowledged their existence and picked fun of them as he pleased. He had much better things to do, like look after his birds. "At least you'll finally be too busy to annoy me." The redhead would joke, which would cause the much smaller one to pout usually. Kyle mostly ignored the other members as well as he could. He found them all rather annoying at times.
Kenny had been at his new work for about a week now. Kyle was finally getting used to not having a crackhead bother him all day and night. Usually when Kenny got home he would be tired and doze off to sleep, which meant Kyle got 24 hours of no Kenny. The previous night, though, Kenny had bought a pack of monsters on his way home. These things not only keep Kenny up, but they also get him more high than ever. Kyle hated it. He finally had peace.
