(Chapter Five)

I had so much trouble sleeping that night. The thought of me telling you about my feelings kept taunting me. 

I sat outside for hours after you and Haley went to bed, I needed to concentrate. I needed to think about how I would handle it when you tell me you don't feel the same. But I didn't even bother thinking about how I react when you tell me you've been feeling the same way all along. Cause I know that's not the answer I would get in return. 

 I finally decided to go to bed, I wanted to just get tomorrow over with, even if it means loosing our friendship, at least you knew the truth.

I didn't really think about what I was going to tell you later when I woke up. I just let it loose in my mind until later, I just enjoyed my day drinking hot coco and shopping for winter clothing. 

I checked my skype for any messages and I got one from you. You had sent me your number and said for me to text you. So that's exactly what I did. 

After you gave me your number, I couldn't concentrate for the rest of the day. I waited for your text after I replied. Crazy right? I know, but I was so nervous. I was afraid I was going to type something stupid and mess it all up.

Haley was at her grandma's and that meant no wifi, so I was on my own. I had no help, but I told her about what I was going to do later that night, she thought it was time to. 

I was so not ready to tell you, we had only known each other for 3 days, but I was dropping at my kness, I couldn't hold it in anymore.

10:23 PM

I stared at the clock, the day flew by fast. And I knew it did it on purpose. Logging into Skype, you had sent me another message. 

It was time. 

Phillip: I'll call you in about 5 minutes, okay?(:

Me: Okay(: 

Great, 5 minutes. Five minutes tell the call starts. Five minutes until I start to loose it. That's not enough time. I started freaking out. So I called Haley to calm me down and just put her on speaker phone and then I got your call. 

*Incoming Call From Phillip*

I click the Answer button and start the conversation like any other conversation starts off. 

Haley was still on speaker phone so that Phillip could hear her too.

While the conversation was going on, it just came out, straight forward, but, from Haley's mouth, not mine. 

Haley: Phillip! Just ask her out already! 

I stood there frozen. What was he going to say? That was just so sudden. Why does this have to happen to me now? 

So many questions ran through my head after what Haley said. 

Phillip: What?

I was so relieved that you didn't hear what she said. But knowing Haley, she just had to repeat it. 

Haley: Ask Jill out! I know you like her!

While sitting in silence at the computer, it came out, the question I've been waiting to hear, for 3 whole days, but I was so surprised they came from your mouth, but on the other side, I was so happy.

Phillip: Okay, Jill, will you go out with me? 

 But stupid me thought it was a joke and just ignored it for the rest of the night. You barely talked for the rest of the night. 

But the cutest thing happened that night. 

You fell asleep on Skype. <3 

I had no idea what to do, I asked Haley if I should just leave it, or hang up. So I just decided to leave it on and talked to Haley while sitting on the porch. 

She kept asking me what my answer was going to be, but I ignored it, until the next morning..
