mina walked alongside the beach, staring at the sea. she loved the sea. everything that happened good to her, happened at the beach. how coincidental that namjoon would appear again at the beach.

as she walked, a vibrant blue mop of hair caught her eye. she remembered the boy from the surf shop that stormed out, it was probably him. he was sitting on the bench. his head burried in his large hands. mina wondered if she should walk up to him and maybe try to talk or just leave him.

'you know, he is a stranger to you. you don't know him. you saw his outburst at the surf shop. who knows what that man can do now' mina got used to namjoon appearing out of nowhere.

'you think so?' she asked, still not taking her eyes off the blue haired stranger. namjoon was jealous of how the way she stared at the boy on the bench. she should only stare at namjoon and only him.

'i know so' he said confidently.

'namjoon, i think i'm going to walk up to him. maybe i can calm him down' and with that she started walking up to the blue haired boy, leaving namjoon behind her once again. she barely remembered the boy's name back there. tae... taehyung? she thought hard.

when she walked up to him, she didn't know what to say. she was lucky that he didn't notice her at all. she heard the sounds of the waves crashing into the sand and his quiet sobs.

'um.. t-taehyung?' he removed the hands from his head. his head shot up as he yelled

'areum?!' his eyes were glimering, maybe it was because of the tears, maybe it was because of the hope that it was the person he called out for or maybe it was just both; but as soon as he saw who was standing in front of him his heart shattered in pieces again.

'oh, it's just you' he muttered.

'um.. well.. i'm sorry if i'm being a bother, but i saw your outburst in the surf shop and i saw you sitting here alone so i thought if you wanted someone to talk to?' she tried to ask nicely, but taehyung just yelled at her.

'i don't need anyone's talks and pity! i don't need anyone, especially not you!'

mina's heart shattered at the words this stranger was throwing at her.

'well... i'm sorry then taehyung. i'm going to go now'

taehyung just shot a glare at her, going back to muttering some things to himself.

mina left and taehyung was once again alone. like always.

when taehyung came back to the surf shop he was met by an angry jungkook and a confused jin.

'so, mister grumpy pants, what's up with you?' jin asked him 'you have been doing so well. what was that for? you made a scene in front of that girl.' taehyung rolled his eyes.

'now you're just lecturing me over nothing. i literally didn't do anything. and it's jungkook you should be lecturing. not me' taehyung spat at them. he tried to walk away but jin grabbed his arm.

'it's because of areum, right?' jin eyed jungkook who was leaning against the wall with his hands crosses over his chest. nobody said anything.

'it is' jin confirmed it himself. or the silence did.

'i was trying to help him move on hyung, if he keeps on moping around like an old man he won't be able to do anything. he locks himself in his room the second anyone comes in our apartment. i can't stand seeing my best friend sad anymore. i wanted him to help mina, the girl that was with us today, since he couldn't do that with areum.' jungkook said. the eldest stared at the both of them.

'i-i...' taehyung started speaking. 'i can't move on.. it's hard. m-mina walked up to me about an hour ago and i thought it was areum. my whole heart, that was in pieces, got glued together. it felt as if i came back to my past when i met her. but then i saw mina's face instead of are-' and that is where taehyung broke down in tears. he couldn't hold it in anymore. jungkook and jin walked up, hugging him. 'i-instead of areum's. my whole world shattered again. but i swear it's as if i heard areum's voice'

taehyung was a crying mess and there wasn't really much for jin and jungkook to do to help him. 'hyung, that's why i found her special the moment i saw her. she reminded me of areum too much. i thought that it would maybe make you feel somewhat at ease. i'm sorry' jungkook said sadly.

'no jungkook, it isn't anybody's fault. maybe besides mine. i was a bit too rude' he said through his sobs.

'okay, okay. enough girl talk for now. let's go close the shop and go get some pizza, what do you think?' the eldest said, his voice full of excitment. the youngest nodded enthusiastically, staring at taehyung.

'okay, let's go' taehyung said.
