Ohio, and Georgia,
Plus Alabama too,
They all proposed laws on abortion, and birth control,
Oh yes, ladies, it's true.
Our bodies are being regulated,
By cruel men who don't know half
of what our reproductive organs do,They threaten our southern sisters, and take away their choice.
They claim to protect potential life, but disregard the life that already exists elsewhere.
Not the women and young girls who will be forced to support these unborn babes,
or the countless children without loving families, food, and education in these states. They'll look away when they see the death rates of women go up because they could no longer abort the baby that now killing them in labor,
They'll look away when they hear of the women that bled out on their periods without birth control to stop the flow,
And they'll look away when they speak of these biased laws that protect potential lives and take away existing ones,
Too gutless to look into the eyes of the people they are effecting with them.
But women will never look away.
They will burn a hole into your turned head with their stares, and scream into your deaf ears until you hear.
We will struggle against these heinous acts, even if we'll soon take our last painful breaths,
We will oppose these "pro-life" laws until you stop policing female bodies, and taking the lives of women away,
We will fight you even while the sun does not shine, because it is a dark, frightening day,
When young girls and women alike can not make the difficult decision for themselves,
to stop what could put an end to them,
because these politicians care more for the potential baby, than the man that caused this life and raped it's mother.
