A month has passed ever since Lucy started attending Fairy Tail Academy. So far, it was a great start. She knew almost everyone, and became popular. Only that to her, popularity wasn't something she expected.
"Although there's twenty five percent chance of being kidnapped. Beware of that."
"What do you mean by that?" Lucy raised one eyebrow. Unusual, Magnolia seems like a peaceful town with no issues.
"Nothing. Forget it." Levy avoided eye contact.
Meanwhile with Natsu, he checked his phone to see a missed call from a stranger. This person claimed to be an expert in murders and horrendous crimes, and got away with it.
"Sorry. I work alone." Natsu replied, and hung up. Although he could've used the advice he got from that stranger. Useful sources gone to waste. What if it was actually the police in disguise?
'Great. Just great.' He thought at the sight of his 'annoying' classmate.
"Hey! Want to eat lunch with me and-" Lisanna smiled and held tightly to an object she was hiding.
"Go away. I'm busy."
"Rude! Is this how you treat your friends? If so..." Lisanna wanted to snap, yet it didn't feel like the right moment, so she kept quiet.
"Well, I have no choice. I don't like what I'll do, but it MUST be done." The white haired girl finally figured out a plan. She took a pocket knife out of her locker, and followed Lucy around, trying to analyze the perfect moment for the perfect crime.
"Hello, Lucy," Lisanna's voice was barely whisper in the echoey room.
"Eh?"
"Listen, there's something I have to tell you."
"Okay?" The blonde said, which sounded more of a question. She received a malicious smile from Lisanna. With no warning, Lisanna tried to wield the pocket knife to create even the smallest wound, yet she failed at doing so.
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"I don't know! I don't remember what happened! Sorry for the way I acted..." Lisanna drops the pocketknife and sits on the floor.
"Why were you trying to kill me?"
"It's that... I-" Lisanna bursted to tears, remembering the despicable images she had seen.
"Say it."
"Disorder. I'm still in treatment."
"Don't feel bad. Go ahead, laugh or something." Lisanna sighed.
"No. I understand you aren't okay. Just don't try to murder me ever again.
"Anyways, let's try to forget this incident and try to get along well. Try."
Since their issues were resolved, they agreed to keep this to themselves. Too easy, not gonna lie. The deal worked. Quite a surprise.
Lucy and Levy spent most of their time at the library organizing books and placing them to their correct shelves. Though Levy was setting aside another pile of books she would read later on. Then, they headed to the courtyard.
Lucy spotted a familiar figure, the salmon hair gave it away.
"Oh, it's you guys!" Natsu waved at both girls. "Coincidence is being lucky today."
"I'll leave you two alone. Bye Lu!" Levy left the courtyard, a panicked looked on her face.
"That's strange. She never acted this way. Is it because something she's going through?" Lucy spoke. "Or did you had something on your face?"
"Don't know," he shrugged. "Let her be. But do I actually have something?"
"Not at all!" Lucy replied.
Throughout the entire school day, Lucy tried her best to concentrate, but every now and then, distractions got the best of her. Finally, hell was over.
However, when she walked home, she felt like she was constantly being watched. Lucy checked your see if someone was behind her, but no one was present.
'Phew.'
When she entered to her apartment, she locked the door behind her. Suddenly, a husky with white and grey fur barked, excited to see the blonde.
"Celestia!" Lucy cuddled her puppy. "It's nice to see you!"
She started talking about her day. Celestia tilted her head, confused as to why the human was having a conversation with a dog.
A box of pizza, lying on the couch, watching her favorite fantasy series with Celestia, and for last, she worked on her novel, or so she called it. In reality, it was a bunch of stories written in an old notebook.
The gust of wind and the twilight sky made a beautiful combination. Unfortunately, something terrible happened outside of her home.

September 15, 6:30 pm"Come on... I thought they would reply by now," Lisanna sighed. It had been two hours waiting in the school yards, and still her friends hadn't arrived.
Lisanna owned up for all of her mistakes last year, so why her friends ditched her for no reason? Or it could be...
"Hey!" Natsu walked over to the girl, with a goofy grin on his face.
"Hi! What brings you here?" She waved back.
At first, it started like a nice chat between friends. Natsu wasn't paying attention to her, instead he looked at the incinerator the entire time, while holding a knife behind his back.
'Hehe! Do it!' His inner voice yelled.
So Natsu extended his arm, holding a knife with clenched fists.
"What's going on? Get away from—"
Too late. The sharp object pierced Lisanna's heart, deep enough so she wouldn't survive. Blood pooled next to the corpse.
'Is this how it feels...' Natsu glanced at his bloody hands.
Another realization slapped him: How was he supposed to erase the evidence?
He searched for cleaning supplies in the janitor's closet, then spent more than three hours of scrubbing, wiping, and more scrubbing. He couldn't just leave the evidence there!
Lastly, he placed the knife and Lisanna's corpse in the incinerator. The temperature of the incinerator were so hot, everything inside turned into dust. Now, a question still stands:
"I wonder... who's next?"

Finally, after such a long time, I edited this chapter. I know it's not fully perfect, but it's better than before and doesn't make me cringe.
