When I looked up I saw a young guy probably around my age was poking me .pulling my headphones out of my ears the boy spoke up .

"Is your stop east mass station " the boy said."yea I think so are we here?" I asked ."yea we are about five minutes from city lines I'm Jake " Jake said greeting with a handshake ." hi im Nicole " I say while shaking his hand.

"If you don't mind me asking but what happened you look ? " Jake asked ."its a long story ,I'm not ready to talk about it sorry"feeling bad." No its fine its not my place to know.are you from here I have not seen you before ". " yea I moved here because my mom died " I said shaking inside." Oh sorry for your loss .I'm from here I think you will love it .how old are you?" Jake rambled ." cool oh I'm sixteen almost seventeen how about you ?"I asked Jake calmly." I just turned seventeen ,that's why I'm coming back up here.I'm grandma makes me come up every year around my birthday" .

The bus comes to a hult and people begin exiting .me and Jake were the last two to get off .I checked my phone to see if my grandmother was outside .when I did I saw it was five o'clock and she did not call or text me .I was pulled out of my thoughts by Jake " is someone here to get you?"."oh i dont know let me call them" I said.I called and no one answered ."I don't know no one is answering " "do you know the address? .what is you grandmas name?" Jake said." Her name is lily Evan I think she said she lived on oak street" "oh I know where that is next to my house here I'll give you a ride there " jake said .
" oh you don't have to I think I can walk "I said." Don't be silly hop in my car I'll get your bags " jake said being nice ." OK "

When I got in the car I realized that the car was really nice .as soon as jake put the bags in the car he hopped in the drivers seat and started the car.my question slipped out my mouth before I could stop myself " why did you take the bus when you have a amazing car" feeling bad since that came out rude." My grandma buys the ticket for the bus and she won't let me take my car"

We pulled into the drive way and I saw that the house was bigger than what house i have every lived in before.when we came to a stop i thanked jake foe giving me a ride here and helping me with my bags.i gave hime a hug and told him "i hope i see you in town sometime thanks again " .when jake pulled out the drive way i started to walk into the house.it looked as if no one was home ."hello grandma its nicole .i got a cab to drop me off since you were not at the bus station"i said while walking around the house."hello grandma anyone there?"

i did not know what to now.so i jus sat downon the couch not wanting to touch anything .i do not know how long i sat there but about an hour later someone sarted to come down the stair but what i should do next was a mystery even to me.
