School Days

Tony circled Peter one last time.

"You're sure you have everything Pete?" He asked finally. Peter glared at him for what seemed to be the 7th time. "Yes Mr. Stark! I'm fine." He replied after a short pause of frustration. Tony smirked. "So where's your backup sandwich?" He asked.

"Infront my books...."

"And your backup backup sandwich?"

"In the front pocket."

Tony patted Pete on the back. "Alright kid, have a good day at school." Peter let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks Mr. Stark!" He exclaimed before entering the elevator and vanishing. "Finally, you let the kid out on his own for once." Stephen blurted from the couch.

"I know, I only sent one spy drone this time!"

Stephen spat out his coffee. "AGAIN STARK!?"

"PETER! WAIT UP!" Yelled Ned as he bolted after Peter. "So, what's it like living in the Avengers tower now!?" Peter shushed him, Spider-Man was still a secret after all. "It's not that special Ned." Ned gave Pete his usual 'Im gonna pretend you never said that' look. Peter rolled his eyes as they strolled to class. Surprisingly, they reached the door without anyone mocking them.

Not like it had anything to do with the secret drone following them.

For the entire semester, everybody kept staring at Peter. He quickly notices this, thinking something is wrong. He swallows at a certain thought. What if they know about him?

The. Entire. Day.

Everyone avoided Pete. Even Ned acted strange.

"Mr. Stark! I-I have a situ-" He paused, seeing the familiar figure on the couch. "Uncle Loki?"

The pipsqueak voice of the Spider child made Loki drop his book. "Spider Child! You startled me!" Loki exclaimed. "S-Sorry uncle Loki.... Where's Mr. Stark?" Loki picked up his book and flattened the pages. "Supposedly in the kitchen." He murmured before continuing.

Peter trailed off, leaving Loki buried in his book.

Natasha and Clint are in the middle of a game of Poker, surrounded by Tony, Bruce and Thor. Thor looked more focused on admiring Mjolnir. Tony was glaring at Clint's cards and, as usual, Bruce was admiring Natasha.

"Mr. Star-"

"PETER!" Tony raced towards Peter and hugged him. "So, how was school?"

"Actually, I have a-"

"Don't tell me, more bullies? You have to ignore them Pete!"

"No! It's just-"

"Did Loki torture you by reading his book out loud?" Thor said, chuckling. "Don't worry, we're heading back to Asgard soon."

"Listen! It's not-"

"Thor, books are great to read! Don't discourage Pete from reading now!" Exclaimed Bruce.

"I THINK EVERYONE KNOWS IM SPIDER-MAN!"

Everybody turns.

That was a bad idea, I shouldn't have said that out loud... Oh gosh Mr. Stark is gonna kill me... School will be so different from now on this is bad bad bad!

Tony walked up to Peter.

Uh oh....

"What do you mean by... you think?"

"Everybody...avoided me...."

Coughing was heard by the door.

"Ehem, I'm sure that's because of Tony's spy drones that he sent to follow you." Stephen blurted.

Tony scratched his head. "What? Pfft, no! Nonsense!" He added before locking eyes with Stephen.

Thor literally felt Loki grinning from the next room.

Tony began to push Peter towards his room. "You should get some sleep! Big day tomorrow!" He stammered. "But it's 3:00 p.m....."

Tony shut the door on Pete and stormed off.

Probably to tell Mr. Strange that was a bad idea.
