THE DARK JACK SERIES (est. 2013)

Note: The beginning is pretty figured out but it's probably gonna be all over the place because it hasn't talked about for awhile. Once it hits a certain point, it's all conceptual. Here is a summary of the basic plot and ideas that manga will explore. There are 5 phases to Dark Jack. Warning: If you have not read the books there are spoilers as things from the book will be mentioned!

Our story begins with Jack sleeping in a tree and Baby Tooth flies up to try and wake him. When he doesn't budge, a whole migration of baby teeth storm in and push him off the branch into a yeti's sack. Meanwhile, at the North Pole, decorations are being put up by all the Guardians. Bunny, being organized and picky, keeps a clipboard with him; his glasses pushed up his nose as he makes sure everything is ready. Phil and the baby teeth return to the Pole with Jack. Whilst  in the sack, the frost spirit could hear Bunny say something along the lines of "Aye! He's not supposed to be here for another two hours!" Then a disgruntled Phil,  "Bshfisbdisbdj!" followed by a moderately annoyed Bunny once again, "Well! Just put him in there!" Suddenly, Jack, the sack, and all are thrown in the closet to be disregarded by all for the next two hours.

Finally, when the 2 hours are up, Tooth opens the closet door. Light floods the dark closet from behind her causing a reflection off Jack's eyes. Jack jumps over Tooth and lands on the ground.

"Really?! Why'd you think it is okay t-..."

As he stands he looks up and sees 'HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!' painted on a banner above him. The room is decorated for what appeared to be a party. His eyes search the room for a calendar and narrow when one is spotted. April 1st. Blue eyes widen as he looks at his friends realizing the party is for him. He didn't think the Guardians liked him that much.

~Fun Fact: In 2013, April Fools Day occurred on the day after Easter and in the movie that's the same day Jack took the oath to become a Guardian. Therefore April Fools Day is the Anniversary of Jack's Guardianship.~

The party is a blast and everyone had a good time. Which isn't a surprise, considering North hosted it. The Yetis also brought a ton of cool things and thus a montage of fun times starts. In the corner of the room, unseen by the Guardians, a shadowy darkness begins to overcome an elf. The form seeps into the elf's skin and disappears beneath the surface, making the elf appear normal again. As the party calms, North steps forward wishing to make a toast with hot chocolate. In the next few moments, each of the Guardians receive a mug from an elf on a serving tray and Jack watches with a smile. An elf kicks him in the ankle to get his attention and lifts the platter up towards him. Jack bends over and takes the mug before looking to North who then starts to make a toast.

North hardly gets part of the way through his toast before Tooth cuts in, interrupting him as remembered that she had a present for Jack. Tooth asks them to continue without her because she would be a minute. Tooth exists with Baby Tooth and leaves to go to another part of the workshop. As she exits, North finishes his toast. They all cheer as they raise their glasses and drink. The scene focuses on Jack as he chugs down his coca. Almost immediately after he finishes he feels off, dizzy even. North gives him a look of concern and asks him if he's alright. "Uh...yeah I'm good...fine-" His words were slurred and Jack's world went dark.

~Author's Note: Jack's hot chocolate is spiked with darkness.~

Jack's body hits the ground and Sandy's eyebrows rose before looking at his own mug and pouring out its contents. The others look at each other and yell in perfect unison, "TOOTH!". Tooth, in another room with Baby Tooth, heard her name being yelled and rushed back to the others quickly. What she finds is the three conscious Guardians standing uncomfortably close to each other, blocking something from her view. North tried to stay calm and play it cool but Tooth's militant mother instincts kicked in and she maneuvered around them to see Jack's body out cold on the floor. "Did you not think to put him on the couch?" She grumbles as she picks up the frost spirit's limp form and set him on the couch. His arm falls limply over the edge of the couch and Baby Tooth flew over to move it resting it comfortably on his stomach. Tooth rested a hand on his forehead but quickly pulls it back from the heat he is emitting. "He's experiencing cognitive resurgence..." North gave Tooth a confused look and she explained in simpler terms. "He's receiving more memories..." The next scene jumps into the memory Jack is remembering.
