Teruhashi's Disastrous attempt at love.

Teruhashi asks Saiki

Saiki sat blank-faced in the classroom.  Spending another morning listening to the tedious thoughts of his classmates.  Teruhashi was plotting an attack on his peaceful life, she was planning on asking him out on a date today.

Good grief.  Teruhashi still has a crush on me after all this time. If she was a normal girl by now she would have realized that I'm not interested,  being so popular must damage your perception of reality more then I realised.

Kaidou bursts into the classroom at that thought.  Pulling a dramatic pose in the entryway. 

"Sorry, I'm Late!  It was unhelpable,  the dark reunion sent agents this morning on the walk to school!  I had no trouble beating them due to my power!!  Ha.  They are going to have to try harder than that next time."

Although I suppose there are others who's delusions are worse then Teruhashi's. 

Saiki zones out as Kaidou is scolded by the teacher, it becoming vague noise in the background. 

Back to the issue at hand,  Teruhashi.  She has already come up with multiple times of the day she could ask me on a date, and a few backs up plans if things go wrong.  It's going to be very tiresome if I have to avoid all of these schemes, but maybe I'll get an opportunity to reject her so she finally knows that I'm not interested.  I'll have to make sure to do it with no one else around or else - oh. It's already break. 

"Eh Pal. " Nendo appeared over his right shoulder grinning.  Kaino appeared as well.  "Saiki!  Did the dark reunion send any agents to you this morning?  If you need us to start walking with you to school again then-"

Definitely not. 

He stood up in his chair and headed for the men's bathroom,  partly to escape Kaidou's annoying delusions and mostly because Teruhashi had worked up the courage to ask him, and she had been making her way towards his desk. 

This is a pain,  I can't just go to the bathroom every time she heads towards me,  it will start to look weird,  and I don't want to stand out. 

Saiki crossed his eyes using clairvoyance to see where Teruhashi was.  She was in the hall outside the bathrooms,  with a large number of boys crowded around her.  She still managed to maintain her facade and was smiling beautifully at them. Saiki sighed.  This situation was probably going to be the easiest one to deal with out of all to come.

At least all I have to do is wait until the end of the break and everyone will go back to class. I'm dreading the rest of the day. 

The bell rung and Saiki stood up from the toilet. 

Time Skip

Challenge number two,  lunch.  Terushina has followed Saiki out of the cafeteria,  which he left when he saw her heading over to his lunch table. 

If she is going to ask me out,  and worst comes to worst I can't avoid it,  I have to at least make sure there is no one around.. There are three boys up ahead this corridor,  talking around the corner.  It's too risky here I'll have to lead her somewhere else-. 

"Saiki!! " Teruhashi yelled up the corridor.  Saiki's eyes widened. 

I got distracted thinking about where else to go and forgot to pay attention to how close she was.  More importantly with a yell like that...

The boys from up the corridor and around the corner had heard Teruhashi's yell.  Like moths to a flame, they had already started to move from their position. Teruhashi was getting a lot closer.
 
This corridor goes in two ways.  Up to the direction I was previously heading, and down towards Teruhashi.  On my right are windows and on the left an empty classroom.  If I continue walking up we will just get closer to the boys,  walking down will make no difference as they will still see us.  So we have to go into the classroom and hope they don't think to look.
