Chapter 1

future Lydia's pov (played by Jane Fonda)

"Ive found them" Charles said as the jet took us to China to see mutants that we know and some new faces. We landed and a male came out with a ray gun and storm went down the steps, followed by Logan having another cigar. Then I walked down the steps with tommy and Amelia beside me and Charles was not too far behind me and then behind him was Erik and we all walked towards the group that were surrounding us but I looked at them

"Professors" Bobby called out and came down the steps and I smiled brightly at him

"Bobby" storm said amazed at him and he looked at her

"Hello storm" He greeted kindly and hugged her then he hugged me

"Hello professor" he said and I looked at him

"Bobby how many times, don't call me professor. It makes me feel old. Lydia or ivy is fine" I said and he chuckled but nodded, he quickly hugged amelia and did a handshake with tommy that I chuckled at, then Logan looked at him

"Hey kid" he greeted and bobby nodded at him

"Professor" we heard a female voice call out and kitty and colossus walked out and I gasped at how much they had grown up from when they were just smaller teenagers

"You made it" she said and me and Charles both nodded at her but then she saw Amelia and ran towards her and they shared a reunion hug which made me smile. They reminded me so much of me and raven. God bless her soul and then Bobby walked over to kitty and grabbed kitty's hand and I raised my eyebrows at them not expecting that to occur and we all went inside to go sit down

"Whenever a sentinal attack's, warpath spots them and I send bishop back to warn us of the attack before it happens, blink scouts the next site and then we leave before they ever knew we were there" kitty explained to us and I nodded in understanding while I sat on the floor holding Charles' hand

"Because we never were" warpath pipes up and I look at him as he pulls out a knife and I hiss a little as I'm not really good with knives after many previous experiences with them

"What do you mean, you were never there?" Logan asked confused

"She projects bishop back in time a few days to warn the other of the coming attack" I explained to Logan and he looked at me

"So she sends bishop back in time?" He guessed snd I looked at him and shook my head

"No just his consciousness into his younger self, his younger body" Charles said for me and I looked at him

"Well" He said and kitty nodded lightly

"This might just work Charles and Lydia " Erik said and I tended a bit, not believing that he just said that out loud

"What might work?" Kitty asked confused and then looked at me

"The sentinel programme was originally conceived by DR bolivar trask, in the early 70s he was one of the most leading world weapon designers but covertly he had begun experimenting on mutants, using their gift to fuel his own research. There was one mutant who had discovered what he was doing" Charles explained

"A mutant with the ability to transform herself into anyone" Erik carried on

"Mystique" colossus said correctly
