18-I Like The Sound Of It.

GRACE'S POV

We both made our way to the hospital. There were tons of paparazzi present and I felt thrown aback.

I looked at Alex and he gave me apologetic look. We always had bodyguards, no matter what. Matt and Sawyer were always with us, and it felt better to have them.

Because, there was no way I could run or hide my big belly. Alex got down and finally opened my door to my side. I took his hand and pulled myself up.

He wrapped his arms around me and helped me in. I took deep breaths and tried to call myself down.

"Who the hell tipped them?!" Alex yelled on Matt. I held his hand to calm him down and he looked at me.

"It's okay, we were careful all this time. This was bound to happen once and it did. We need to be more careful. I just don't want any encounters with them." I told him and he nodded.

"I'm so sorry, baby." I nodded.

"Let's go and get our appointment done. I'm excited to know the gender." I told him and he smiled.

Feeling the cold liquid on my belly was something I was still unused to. But I was excited today as I'll finally know the gender.

"You want to know the gender?" The doctor asked and I was about to reply, but Alex best me to it.

"No! We want it to be a secret." He said and I looked up at him with wide eyes. He knew how excited I was.

"Okay. If you change your decision, you can tell me in your next session." She said and we both nodded.

I was pissed, was an understatement.

"Grace, I suggest you eat and specially drink a lot of liquid. Have your vitamins. Because, having twins, won't be easy. And from now on, you have to be more careful. No bending or hard stuff. Since now your sixth month started, it's necessary for you to have one person with you, all the time." She informed and I nodded.

"Okay, I'll see to it that I follow all the instructions." I said and smiled at her.

"And, I suggest you massage her foot and put your feet in cold or hot water, according to your requirements, from time to time. Might help with the weight your carrying." She said and I was grateful because my feet were pretty swollen.

"Thank you so much. I'll take care." I said and she gave me few more tabs on everything before we left.

We left the hospital from another gate. Some paparazzi were there, too, but less compared to morning.

Once in the car, I immediately removed my hand from Alex's hold. He looked at me surprised.

"What?" He asked and I have him a glare.

"Don't you dare 'what' me! I told you I wanted to know the gender and still you said you wanted to keep it a secret?! Why!?" I yelled at him angrily, and angry tears poured down my eyes.

"Ace, it's not like that. I just..." I cut him off.

"You don't love me anymore. You don't want to know my wish and you won't follow. I might look like a big whale to you. I'm not even pretty anymore." I cried and hid my face in my hands.

"Ace, it's not like that. I love you and you still are the most prettiest woman I've ever laid my eyes on. And I'm very aware that you wanted to know, but I wanted to wait. In the next session, I swear we'll know. I didn't know you wanted to know so badly. I swear in the next session we'll know the gender." He said and I sniffled.
