"Will you be my girlfriend?" Jimin asked as he kneeled in front of you. There was no one else around just the two of you and you were touched by the gesture, because you wouldn't know what you'll answer when there's a crowd around.
You were silent only looking at him as his hand shakes while holding out the bouquet of sunflowers in his hand, Jimin is about to stand up and give up for the last time because you're not answering him his nerves are getting into him, you can tell.
"Hey? stand up already." you said as he looked into your eyes and you saw tears already brimming from it. You haven't answered his question maybe that's why he is close to tears as he stood up from where he was kneeling in front of you. Jimin was close to crying and you couldn't handle that, he deserves someone better than you. Someone whose heart is not occupied by someone else, he deserves someone who can love him wholeheartedly. "Jimin-ah I-I need time please. I can't say yes right now. You deserve someone who will love you wholeheartedly and I can't be that one...not yet." you heaved a sigh as you watched him nod and looked away. You were expecting for him to walk away but he didn't, instead he turned back around and smiled, he took your hand and gave you the sunflowers.
Those sunflowers that reminds you of someone, funny how you want to move on yet you are being reminded of the past just because of this damn flowers.
"Hey? look at me. It's okay you don't have to feel guilty I already knew you wouldn't say yes. also..." Jimin trailed off as he contemplates on what he should say to you. "He's back. Hoseok-hyung is back."
Your chest tightens and you can't breathe Jimin held you in his arms as he leads you on a near bench, the news caught you off guard it made you weak literally. "Since when? did he-did he say something? or anything at all?" you asked as tears started falling from your eyes.
"He didn't say anything at all. I-I also told him about us...hope it's okay?" you stayed quite.
"It's okay Jimin-ah."
"Do you want to meet him? I can arrange something for you to meet him."
"No...no need there's no reason for us to meet anyway."
"But..." you cut Jimin off by kissing his cheek something you've done when you're thanking him or shutting him up.
"I said no need Jimin, I'm okay I already got you or did I lose you too when I said no today?" You asked him as you held his hands that are trembling too. Then he looked at you and smiled "No, You won't lose me. You won't lose me even if you don't want me by your side anymore." he said and held your face as he kissed your forehead that made you calm. "I'll always be here by your side."
