Elizabeth's POV

yesterday was very important to me it was my 18th birthday the day in our culture I now can go to parties out side of our kingdom. I was very excited cause there was a party tonight ate the demon kings court. giants, humans, fairies, and all the others. my farther said its tradition for a new comer to wear the color of that nation as a sign of respect I was in a red corset with a black lace over lay. my skirt was clinging to my hips with a slit all the way up the side of my leg to my hip. my hair up in curls. my left eye still covered. my make up was dark to match my dress with dark red lips. I went down the stairs and saw my sisters dressed up so beautifully. but I did not see my farther. " where is father?" they smiled "

he is not feeling the best so we are going instead." answered Margret. we got into the carriage. we spent about 2 hours in there, and just talked about all kinds of stuff. " so what do I need to do tonight?' they smiled " well first when we arrived you need to introduce yourself to the demon king, and then dance with one of his sons be carful they can be rather mean at times." said Veronica.

I nodded " if you do not mind me asking who did you two get?" Margret smiled " I got Zeldris, and Veronica got Esteraossa." I smiled " so will I get one of them?" they looked at each other worried.

"well... maybe but-" Margret got cut off by Veronica. " just say tell her about him!" I looked at both worried.

"what is she talking about?" I asked a little nervous.

" there is one other that is left he is the oldest but he is um... regarded as ruthless. I have heard rumors of him using women as play things and there is nothing anyone can do because he is the eldest son of the demon king getting into a fight with him means getting into a fight with the entire demon clan. he is said to be looking for a new toy and we are worried you will be it. and there is nothing we can do. all I can tell you is do what he says so that his attention will go else where quickly."

I gulp. "W-who is he?" I look at her scared. " Meliodas." my face went pale I tried to calm my nerves.

we arrive my heart rate went up as we got out I tried to hide my face as I looked around seeing all the different races. I look around a little more and see the beauty of the castle is was dark décor abut the candles and chandelier was good touches. I followed my sisters to the demon kings throne they bowed and than I cam forward and bowed

" I am princess Elizabeth third daughter of the king of Lionies. I thank you for welcoming me." he smiled. and looked me up an down. " welcome princess I would be delighted for you to dance with my eldest son Meliodas." suddenly some one came up and whispered in the king's ear.

" what do you mean he is in the middle of something?" the man continued to explain in whispers. his smile disappeared and he looked displeased." I am sorry princess he will have to dance with you later or another time he is a little busy." I nodded and backed away. " thank you again demon king"

I started to relax and enjoy my first party. after a bit I escaped to the balcony and was getting some fresh air. when I heard the party grow very quite. I looked through the crowd and saw a boy with blonde hair and clear green eyes. a demon mark above his right eye. he seemed very cold and demanding. I could see the smeared lipstick on his neck and check he did not seem to care. than it hit me that is what he was doing he wants respect but he was not here to great me?

It actually made me angry we were expected to do all this stuff for the demon clan but we can not get respect in return for everything we do for them. I heard his voice smooth cold and deep. " you requested for my presence father?" his father nodded. " the third daughter of Lionies is here and I want you to dance with her." he looked a little shocked and nodded " yes father." I signed and stepped forward. and bowed. avoid eye contact " hello prince Meliodas" I stepped forward and the music started his head came right as my chest. I look straight forward so to avoid his gaze he had his hand on my waist we began to dance I could feel his eyes on my body.

" you have nice curves for a princess especially a human." I ignored him. " you won't talk?" he asked a little annoyed. " you seemed to busy to talk prince Meliodas after all I am pretty sure the women behind me with the pinkish red lipstick and brown eyes would be upset if her prince were to be taken with someone else."

he smirked " are you jealous of me with another women even though we have only just met?" I smiled and look down " I would not dream of that prince Meliodas simply am saying that time and respect are precious and needed if we are to get along, respect you seem to be needing since you could not give it when I arrived." his smile disappeared. " what are you say little girl?"

" respect is a two way street if you can not give it do not expect it." the song ended I pulled away and bowed. have a good evening prince Meliodas." he looks at his father who is just sitting there smiling.

"you find this funny?" he seemed to snap at his father. " she is correct respect Is needed on both sides for us to get along and what you did was wrong. she waited very patently just because that is her job but you do not take your position seriously." Meliodas grew a bit angry he followed Elizabeth out to the balcony. " who do you think you are disrespecting me in front of my father?"

he grabbed her wrist. " I did not disrespect you, you did when you did not show up knowing you would most likely would be dancing with me it was one dance and then you could of gone back to screwing your whore, but no you shamed me in front of the entire court by screwing some random women and than showing up with smudged lipstick on have your neck. I simply through it back at you. you can dish it to everyone else but you can not take it when it is thrown back at you."

he let go of her wrist. he grew angry a smirk grew took over his lips. he walked away and went to his father. " father I wish to speak to you."

" what do you want my son?" he smirked " I want Elizabeth to be my partner during mating season."

he looked at him and signed "alright my son ill send word to her farther."
