Chapter 5

~Narrator's POV~
Naruto's eyes widened.

How did he know?

He didn't have a picture of Sasuke anywhere near the house, so how could he find out so fast?

Naruto looks up to see the equly surprised look on Sasuke's face.

Sasuke stares down at the sweet innocent smart child.

"Why did you leave, Daddy?"

What's he gonna say? What's he gonna do?

How do you tell you first child that you left them and their mother just because you were arguing most of the time?

How do you tell your son that you basically to their mother that you disown them because you both couldn't get along?

"I left."

Sasuke looked up at the voice, staring at wondering why would he not blame him.

"I left Sasuke because we couldn't see eye to eye," Naruto said, taking the fall. "And since you were still a baby, I had to take you with me because I still had to breast feed you."

Yuki nodded his head, understanding the situation. Once he finished his juice, he went back to play with the other children.

Naruto and Sasuke were just sitting on the bench watching him play.

"Why?"

The mother's hand flinched.

"Why would you tell him that?" Sasuke asked, looking at Naruto, determined to know why would he show him any type of sympathy towards their son.

"Its true, I'm the one who walked out with Yuki in my arms," Naruto said calmly, looking only at his son.

Sasuke's head turns towards the ground, "But I was the one who said those vile words. I was the one who ended things between us, you just did the right thing by leaving."

Naruto's eyes finally turns towards Sasuke, leering, "Exactly how is me leaving the right thing to do?"

Sasuke sat up and said the words Naruto never thought he would hear him say.

"Because once you left, I realized just how shitty of a boyfriend and father I was. I would worry more about the company than you, becomingbthe one person I hate most."

Naruto knew he was talking about his father. But to say he was becoming him was a shock.

He was going to say something but a small voice stopped him in his path.

"Mommy, I'm tired."

Yuki was rubbing his eyes, yawning, as he slowly walks towards his mother.

Naruto picks him up and tries to grab the basket but not before Sasuke grabs it for him.

"I got it."

They both head towards Naruto's car and once their there, Sasuke puts the basket in the front seat while Naruto puts Yuki in the back.

Just as Naruto was about to enter the driver's seat, a hand grabbed his arm.

"Naruto..."

He looked down at the that was grabbing him then at the owner, "What?"

Sasuke saw what he wanted and let him go, "Can we meet up again sometime but for dinner? I want to get to know Yuki."

It took Naruto a while to respond before he agreed to the dinner. Not long after he left, but not without asking if he made the right choice.

Sorry I haven't been around. I've just been through hell and back. I had a competition and we manage to get first place and we are now on our way to Nationals. We got a $2,000 dollar scholarship for every semester we keep a 3.0 GPA or Higher, so I've been studying my butt off. This week we have finals and next month is Nationals(June 30th-July4th). We really have to practice throughout Monday-Thursday and I have a job on June 1st. So yeah, I'm really busy but at least I'm not as busy as I was before(thamkfully).

I'm managing to finish the next Chapter of The Neglected Shinobi, but I only have 500+ words and I want to get to a goal of 2,000+ words so I'm extremely sorry to those who wait for my below mediocre stories.
