Book 3: Hell on Wheels

Chapter 1!

*Kyle's Pov.* 3 hours later*

The rain had lightened up and there was less thunder and lightning. The sky wasn't as dark as it had been 2 hours ago. It looked more relaxed and in heaven. The sun rise shined through some parts of the dark, grey clouds. Seeming as if they were battling over the sky. A raspy battle as the thunder signaled the amount of fighting and arguing the light and darkness had been commencing. A life or death scene. The light would take lead but shortly after so would the darkness. The war was horrid but only will it end soon but the war will start again another day. I only hope the light wins, I hope that the light consumes the darkness that had punctured all of our happiness, draining us of our own light. You may be confused upon what I'm talking about. First the sky and now about life or death. Well, we've been sitting in the damned waiting room for 3 hours now. Aurora had woken up and the doctors had quickly took her to a special room to check everything over to see if she was okay or not. Right now me and my family were looking a Brice in awe. Not believing what had just happened... 3 hours ago.

~FlashBack.~

"Why is life so unfair! She doesn't deserve this!" Adrianna cried in Tanner's chest as Starr dozed off into space and I looked into the window to see Brice sitting next to Aurora's hospital bed. He looked horrible. I didn't know how to feel about this. Whether glad that she's in a better place or hatred that she's not here by me. I know I've been crying heavily but this doesn't feel real. This has to be a nightmare. Fake. This cant be happening. I looked just stared at the two through the hospital window. He was holding her hand as he gazed upon the one he loves. I know he loves her. I know he doesn't believe in love. But he does love her. And I knew they would be together soon. Why did she have to go? Why does have to happen to them? Why cant they be happy? I know that they're meant to be. They both have been through hell like no other and seeing this is only killing me. I sighed upon this and felt a hand being placed on my shoulder. I glanced over to see Starr who was also looking at the window. Fresh tears fell down her face as her bottom lip trembled. I quickly embraced her in my arms and stroked her hair.

"Shhh, Its going to be okay..." I whispered and kissed the top of her head.

"No! It wont! She's gone!" She cried harder into my neck. I closed my eyes and sighed. I was trying to stay strong for her. For Tanner. For Adri. For Aurora...

"Hey, Rorry would want us to smile the best we could. You know she loves it when we smile." I said while opening my eyes. I watched as a nurse opened the door to Aurora's room and went in. I looked in the window and saw the monitor had a straight line. She's gone... My heart dropped right then and tears over flowed upon my face and I held Starr closer to me, tightening my grip and closed my eyes. I rocked us slowly from side to side. "Everything will be okay..." I whispered. "Please let it be okay..." I whispered quieter so I only hear. I opened my eyes to see Brice kissing Aurora on the lips, tears falling gracefully down his cheeks. He walked slowly over to the door and watched as the nurse walked over to the monitor to unplug it. "She's unplugging it. Hurry to say goodbye." I said. Tanner and Adri came up to us and looked through the window as we had our last few seconds with Rorry. We hugged each other as I closed my eyes and thought a small prayer.

'Please let everything be alright. Keep her in safe hands. Please.'

I opened my eyes and looked at Aurora. She looked so peaceful.

"Brice kissed her goodbye..." I said with a small smile.

"Heh, true loves kiss." Tanner sadly chuckled along with us. We looked back at the nurse who was about to unplug the monitor until she automatically stopped. We looked at her confused. She took a few steps back from Aurora's bed and monitor and froze. I furrowed my eyebrows at her until I heard Adri gasp.
