Chapter 17: the body

We walk threw the woods n I think about what I'm gonna do.

We walk up do his body n my plan goes into action

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh" I scream falling into Ashton's arms.

He notices the body n hugs me tight.

"Is that ur dad?"

"I think so."

" It looks like he has been torn apart by a pack of wolfs."

"Ya" I say faking tears.

Ashton calls an ambulance and soon my fathers body is taken away. and all the questions are over we go back to the house.

I have to tell my brother.

We get home n I'm greater by my little brother running n jumping up on me.

"He bud can I talk to you." I ask him n we walk to the living room.

How is he gonna take not having any parents now. he has at least always had someone To call dad. now he has no one.

"Dad died today."

The smile on his face faded ad I could see tears in his eyes.

I opened my arms n hugged him tight

"It's gonna be ok." I assure him.

"But now I'm alone I have no parents." he says

"You have me."

"You arnt mom"

"You can call me mom. and u can call ashton dad."

"Ok mom"

I smile n look at ashton who's face said. what the fuck when is I agree to this and it's fine all at the same time.

"Ok now go get changed we are taking u out to dinner."

He smiles n runs up stairs.

"So we're parents?" ashton asks

"Ya I guess srry I didn't ask first."

"It's ok. he needs a dad."

I smile and so does ash

Tyler comes running downstairs dressed in a simple jeans and t shirt.

"Ready?"

"Ya"

We drive to McDonalds and eat.

We let Tyler play in the play place while me and ashton watch him.

We eventually drive home and put Tyler to sleep.

"So what now?" ashton asks.

"We go to bed."

"Ok"

We head to the basement and sit on the bed.

"Did u do it?" ash asks

"What?"

"Did u kill ur dad."

My facial expression drops. I get up n walk to the door.

"Stop!" ashton says.

"Yes I did." I say falling to my knees in tears.

"It's ok. I won't tell anyone."

I stayed on my knees and cried with ashton before he picks me up bridal style and lays me on the bed.

"Get some sleep."

I nod and next thing I know I was sound asleep.

I wake up with ashton on my left n I was snuggled next to him.

He slowly opens his eyes "morning beautiful"

"Morning ashton" I say blushing he has never called me beautiful before

"Mommy! daddy! wake up its mommy s birthday!." Tyler says jumping on the bed. he wasn't talking about my birthday. he was talking about our moms birthday.

"Hey buddy were up now go get changed were taking u to the zoo today." ashton says.

Once Tyler leaves. I say "I'm not going."

"Why not."

"Cause I always do something on her birthday and I'm not ready to tell anyone what that is."

"Ok"

"Oh n by the way to day is also the day she died." I say walking out the door.

I grab my jacket n throw on my shoes . it was raining as I walked outside.

I walked for about ten minuets until I reached the graveyard.

I walk to my moms grave n lay flowers on it. I was happy it was raining hard cause no one could hear me.

"WHY DID U HAVE TO LEAVE! WHY DID U GO! I MISS U MOM! I KILLED DAD WHAT DO I DO NOW?" I screamed

I had so many questions.

Why did she have to leave? I love he and I miss her. I kept screaming n crying until someone wrapped me in a hug from behind me.

I kept crying I could tell it was ashton it smelled like him.

"It's ok april. shhh." he comforts me while stroking my hair.

Ashton picked me up and laid me in the back seat of his car .

Before I know it I was sound asleep
