Chapter 16

^ AB6IX and their debut song 'Breath'

Jungkook's  POV 

" Jungkook, may I talk to you please?" my manager called me when I was in my room playing a video game while listening to NCT Dream x HVRY 'Don't Need Your Love'

"Sure," I replied to the man. My manager walked into my room and closed the door. What he wanted to tell me must be serious because he never closes the door when he talks to me. "What can I help you with?" I asked him. " Do you remember when you took that interview for the WGM staff? Well, I just received a call from them. They said that they would like you to be on the show as one of the couples."

I stood there shocked, I did not expect that the staff would have even cast me for the show. "Manager hyung, are you sure it is okay for me to join this show. Would this show not clash with my other schedules?" "I didn't accept the offer yet, though I have already talked with Bang PD and he said it was fine as long as you do not slack." "Before I tell you my decision I must discuss this with the hyungs first. I mean my decision would not only affect me but would also affect them. Cause if I am not mistaken the filming for this program would take place on Saturdays and on that day we have practice." I told manager hyung. "All right but don't take to long to discuss cause the writers would like the answer by Sunday and today is Thursday. If there is nothing left I will take my leave now. Call me when you have your answer." With that manager hyung left my room and the dorm. 

After he left I figured that I should get it over with. I called all of the hyungs into the living room. 

Jin hyung came out of the kitchen having just cooked instant ramen for himself. Suga hyung came into the room with a very tired and annoyed expression. Namjoon hyung walked into the living room with a book in his hands. Hoseok hyung came into the room skipping happily. And Taehyung hyung came into the room while screaming 'Jiminie pabo' with Jimin hyung right on his tail with a slipper in hand.  

"Shut up you two. Jungkook tell us what you want to tell us now. You just disturbed me from composing a new song." Suga hyung complained. " Alright hyung, I called everyone here caus-"I was cut off by Jin hyung slurping his ramen. Jin hyung noticed the sudden silence and looked up to see everyone except Suga hyung with a blank face. Suga hyung had an annoyed face. Jin hyung stopped eating as the glares that Suga hyung sent could have killed a person instantly. " As I was saying, around last week I went to the WGM studio with manager hyung and did an interview. They said that they thought that I would be perfect as one of the couples, but I didn't accept the offer yet cause the shooting would happen on a Saturday and we always have practice on Saturday. So I told manager hyung that I would like to have your opinions before making any drastic decisions. What should I do now, should I accept or reject the offer?"

All of the hyungs sat in dumbfounded silence. Namjoon was the first person to speak up. "Jungkook, just accept it. I don't think any of us mind. I mean as long as you still keep up with us at the other practices we have." "Well done kiddo, I guess you do have the most charms among us all. Always will be the Golden Maknae." Suga hyung praised me. Jin hyung, Hobi hyung and Tae hyung all congratulated me and told me that they would support my decision. "Why would they chose you. We all know that I am the most charming, handsome and cute in this group" Jimin hyung joked. "Yeah sure Chim, and I am the queen of England" Tae hyung retorted. "OK, children stop fighting. To celebrate our maknae's success in attracting the show writers with his charms, let's have a feast for dinner. I will cook something delicious for you guys and maybe we can order some pizza. You know P.I.Z.Z.A." Jin hyung said " Jeez we get it hyung, you know how to spell." Hobi hyung said.

After having a dinner full of scrumptious food, I went into his room to call his manager.

Jungkook

Hello, hyung.....

I will accept the offer 

Manager

Really Jungkook, that is wonderful

I will call the writers right now to tell them your decision.

Jungkook

OK hyung.

Hyung is it possible for me to know who my partner is for the show?

Manager

I don't think so, cause they won't even tell me who the other manager is.

Jungkook

OK hyung, thanks.

With that, I hung up on the phone and went to bed to sleep so that I can have enough energy for tomorrow.
