Chapter 11

I saw a male in a wheelchair, which I presumed was an older Charles and I saw a man that looked s lot like Erik snd then a male tending to a females injury and then I saw an older woman and I walked towards her

"Lydia" She said and I looked at her

"Lydia" I said snd we smiled at each other

"So this is what happens" I said and I looked around and then at all the people and saw Amelia but no tommy

"Where's tommy?" I asked and she smiled

"Still got motherly instincts, he is outside" she said and I smiled aim relief and then she looked at em seriously

"He needs you Lydia" she said and looked at both of the Charles and I looked at her

"He needs some of your hope. Guide him and help him. He needs you even though he won't ever admit it" she said and I smiled

"Thank you Lydia" I said and she smiled at me

"Look after them Lydia, we have hard years with these pair and their rights and wrongs so be prepared" she said and I chuckled and laughed and then I was back in cerebro with Charles and Logan and I was smiling happily and Charles looked shocked

"Did you find what you were looking for?" Logan asked him and I looked at Charles and then the light turned back on and Logan leaned up off the chair as hank, tommy and Amelia came into sight

"Powers back on" hank informed us and Charles still looked at Logan as I picked up Amelia and tommy was picked up by Logan

"Yes, Yes it is" Charles said proudly and I smiled widely at him and he turned to cerebro and we all went back towards it and Amelia leaned into me

"Is daddy back to normal now?" She asked and I looked at her and smiled widely

"Yep daddy's back to normal now" I said confidently and Charles looked at me and smiled largely

*future Lydia's pov*

"She's lost too much bold. She can't keep going on like this" Bobby argues with Charles and I looked at kitty and felt extremely bad for what she's had to go through so far

"We have no choice Bobby" Charles said

"We can wake him up" Bobby suggested and Charles soon stopped him

"No, they need more time. We had a glimpse into the past, if we wake Logan now we may set our fate on an even darker course. They need more time" I explained to him and Bobby just looked at kitty snd I got an idea and created a healing plant in my hand and walked over to her and gently placed it on her side and I kept it there without saying anything and kitty looked at me and nodded weakly and I smiled at her, feeling bad that I had to keep her in even more pain as we couldn't wake Logan up.

Charles started talking to raven but he couldn't get through to her and she was completely focused on this task but he spoke many wise words to her and he nearly got through to her but she didn't let him and then the lights went back to white

"Where is she?" Logan demanded and Charles looked at him

"At an airport, boarding a plane" he said and I face palmed that we have once again lost her

"A plane to where?" Logan questioned Charles further and charles thought about it for a moment

"Washington D.C" he said suddenly and I looked at hank, both of our eyes wide

"Guys there's something we need to show you" I said and me and hank walked off with Amelia and tommy and then Charles and Logan not to far behind us and then we entered hanks study where there were a lot of tvs

"The system I designed to record any news about Paris, over all 3 networks and CBS" hank said and I nodded

"All 3?" Logan asked and I nodded

"Wow" he said amazed

"Yea and PBS and look what I found" hank said getting the channel up and us all looking at it

"Tommorow in front of the White House, the president will make his announcement, he'll be joined by secretaryof defence larde and has even seemed the help of renowned scientist bolivar trask to help advice him on this mutant issue. The whit house is-" and then hank turned it of

"Raven doesn't realise that if she kills trask at an event like that with the whole world watching" Charles said not even finishing his sentence

"And I came all the way here for nothing" Logan said and I smiled sadly at him and I looked like I was going to cry

"Yea and there's more bad news I saw on a report that they found traces of her and Lydia's blood in Paris, for all we know they all ready have her DNA and Lydia's, which is all they need to create-" Hank said But Logan cut him off

"To create the sentinels of the future" Logan said and I looked at Charles and he looked at me

"Excuse me" I said and walked out of the office and away from it all and walked outside to go for a hit of a walk to clear my head and I looked at the wall and then I punched it over and over until my hands bled and I slid down the wall and started to sob my heart out and then I saw Logan come outside

"This is all my fault" I said and he looked at me

"No it's not" he said and I looked at him and tapped my head

"You lot think it is" I commented and Logan looked at me and then said nothing and walked me to the plane. Halfway through Charles began to rub his legs and I looked down and sniffed while wiping my eyes. I had a different play suit now that had open sides but in layers and then I had ankle boots that were comfortable and then I had my cardigan on and the necklace that Charles got me for my birthday after we got married. I messed around with it in my hands until I heard someone pipe up
