Chapter 2

"Ehm alex" lanah says looking at me and looking behind me. "yeah?" I say. "I think the new guy likes you" she says pointing to him siting behind me. As I turn around I catch him looking and he smiles and looks away.

"No he's just being nice" I say eating my food. "no I don't think so" lanah says.

"Well even if he does it doesn't matter I don't like him" I say. "yea sure Alex I know you ! you do like him" she says.

"No, ye he's attractive but I don't like him." I say turning to lexi who was staring at Cameron's friend. "but we know who lexi likes" I joke as I snap my fingers in front of her face to get her attention.

"What, oh shut up Alex" she says looking down and eating her sandwich. Lamah and I just laugh as the bell rings and we head back to class.

*in history*

"Ok students we have a new student in our class his names Cameron and I wan you all to welcome him" miss mchugh says as Cameron Walks in ye door.

I look down to make sure he doesn't notice me but guess where the only spare seat in the class was? yea beside me.

"Cameron take a seat beside Alexa and she will fill you in on what we are doing and maybe help you if your lost around the school and things" she says as Cameron smirks and sits next to me.

"Hey alex" he says looking at me. "hi" I say as I look at miss Mc Hugh who is writing something on the board.

"So if I'm lost will you help me find my way?" he asks leaning closer to me. "sure but I don't think the class is that big I think you'll be alright for now, try not to get lost" you say as you look at him briefly. "well that might be a problem when I'm looking into your eyes" he smirks.

"Ok and now I know you have bad pick up lines and this conversation is over" you laugh looking back at the board as he smiles and laughs too.

"It was worth a try" he says looking back at you. "why? it's only me" you say.

"What do you mean 'only you'?" He says. "I mean I'm not exactly the prettiest or smartest or funniest girls around, so why try with me when they would fall at your feet" I say looking at him.

"oh and you aren't pretty or funny or wouldn't fall at my feet?" he says Raising an eyebrow. "does it look like I'm falling at your feet right now?" you say getting annoyed.

"I guess not" he says. "but you are prettier than any of those who would and the fact that you don't is why I want you" he says.

"Sometimes we don't get what we want" you say turning back to the board and paying attention to the lesson.

"but sometimes we do" you hear Cameron whisper and the conversation ends.

*after school*

"Awh I'm so glad we have no homework" lanah says as you, her ad lexi stand at the bus stop.

"Speak for yourself I got math and english" lexi says frowning. "HA HA" me and lanah laugh. "well haha to you that new guy is in my class" she says dreamy.

"Oh so who's dream boy? what's his name?" you ask.

"It's Nash" she says smiling. "oh someone likes NASHH" lanah says and just then him and Cameron walk to the bus stop.

"Oh my god shut your mouth lanah!" lexi whispers and you both laugh.

"What's tht lexi? Nash is cute?" You say purposely loud. yet both look over and Nash winks at lexi.

She goes as red as a fire engine and slaps my arm lightly while me and lanah are dying of laughter.
