Day 1 Part 2 - "Yes, my love?"

Th-

This is outrageous!

"What do I do?! I'm supposed to live as you again?!" I yelled, pulling my bushy locks out of exasperation after throwing his phone at him. "This canNOT be happening right now!"

He suddenly glared at me. "Excuse me? This happened because you were just so illogical!"

"What did you say?!" I jumped up, looking down at him with resentment. "This wouldn't have happened if you just told me the truth and ended it all! Told me that you didn't love me anymore or even thought that I was someone valuable to you!"

He clenched his jaw with his eyes fixed on me.

He stood up to face me with a furious expression and spat, "This wouldn't have happened if you never disappeared. In fact, this wouldn't have happened if you never appeared in my life with those fucked up earrings!"

My expression dropped along with my heart, hearing him.

I never imagined that he would say something so hurtful, so cruel... so heartbreaking...

I swallowed the lump in my throat that tore my lungs and paralyzed my entire body.

His eyes widened as he stammered, "I-I meant-"

"That's enough," I quickly stopped him before he could hurt me anymore. "I think you've said enough, Jungkook."

I snatched his phone from his hands and took the call that had been going on for a long time.

"Yes, my love?" I said, expressionless.

"Why weren't you picking up your phone, Kookie? Were you sleeping?" A very sweet and mellow voice sounded through the line and I could already imagine a lovely, pretty girl talking to me with a soft smile on her face.

"I was in the bathroom, uh..." I drawled as I didn't know her name. "Anyway, why are you calling?"

"What do you mean why am I calling?" She asked with a confused tone. "We were meeting at our usual diner's place for breakfast... and you're late, mister."

Well, I sure didn't know that.

"Okay, I'll be there in five." I ended the call and heaved a sigh.

"Y-You're going?"

I looked up to see him making a pitiful expression using my face, and it looked quite care inducing. What is this weird feeling...

"Of course," I said with no expression, monotonously while looking away. "You know what we have to do until we find a way to break this curse we both hate to bits."

I didn't want to talk further.

Ignoring his little stutters, I walked away towards the door and slammed it after leaving my apartment.

My eyes started stinging with tears as I let my legs lead me towards whatever place they were so used to move. I honestly had no idea what I was doing. My brain was clouded and throbbing with endless thoughts that stole me from reality.
